Escape the city’s noise and bustle as you begin crossing the Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop for a camel ride experience on the way to Ourika Valley, following the ancient Berber trails. Traverse winding dirt tracks, passing earthen Berber houses, with numerous photo stops along the way to capture the beauty of the snow-capped Mt. Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa at 4167m. We’ll take a break in a typical Berber village for some delicious mint tea and lunch in a Berber family house.
- Agafay - Your journey will take you to Kik Plateau, where you’ll discover the most diverse and spectacular landscapes. Your driver will take you to the Agafay Desert, a rocky desert with more sandstone and earthen plateau, traditional mud-built villages, and dusty riverbeds interspersed with spectacular pastures and vegetation in springtime. There, we can sample tea with the locals and enjoy the sunset over the Atlas Mountains. You will then continue your journey back to Marrakech, arriving at approximately 6 pm.
