Highlights
  • Trekking in Morocco - After departing from Marrakech (the red city), the Atlas Mountains, including their highest peaks, come into view. Begin with a visit to Tahnaout village, capturing photos of the local villages, meeting local women, and visiting the market if it’s a Tuesday.

Optionally, you can ride camels near Moulay Brahim for a short time along the Righaya river.

The trip continues to Imlil, known as the Little Chamonix of the Atlas Mountains. This small village is the starting point for a hiking trip around Berber villages and the Ait Mizan valley. Enjoy some mint tea served in a local house, accompanied by local nuts.

The journey becomes even more delightful as we ascend and take in the views from the top villages nestled around the valleys.

Lunch awaits at our local house, featuring Tajine, Couscous, local salad, fruits, and of course, mint tea, our traditional drink.

After lunch, set off for a short walk to meet your driver and return to Marrakech, arriving by 17:00.

  • Atlas Mountains - Spend a day with the Berber people of the High Atlas Mountains. Hike to the villages and waterfalls before reaching the village where a delicious lunch is served.

  • Dar Aymane - Lunch is served by a local family in the Berber village of Ait Souka. Enjoy local Tajine, Couscous, fruits, and drinks. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Amazing tour. Really recommend it. - We had such an amazing time at this tour. Our guide Hassan and our driver Abdou were awesome. The camel ride was short but fun and the guide at the camel Ride was also really nice. Is a really nice hike, I recommend you bring a hat, light clothing and comfortable shows if you are taking the long hike tour during the summer. We try the apples and wall nuts that we were picking up along the way. In general a really nice experience. Thank you!

Overall a great day. - Overall a good day. Saïd was a great driver, we felt safe and he made the journey fun. The Berber market was great (something we’d have never seen without this trip). The hike in Imlil was very good, taking in nice views of the towns. Abdul, our guide was a lovely man who spoke English very well. Lunch was superb as was camel ride. I’d give 5* but we didn’t get to meet the Berber people for lunch, I don’t know what happened there.
