Maras - Pick up from your hotel at 7:00 am and drive towards Cruzpata Village, here you will prepare to mountain bike across Maras Plateau to the spectacular Salineras (Salt Flats, then arrive biking into the Sacred Valley. After 4 hours of biking, you will drive to Santa Maria Village, where lunch is served in a local restaurant. Later, enjoy white water rafting in the Urubamba River for two hours, we spent the night in a rustic lodge in the jungle among coffee and avocado trees (Rafting is subject to weather conditions).

PISPITAYOC – SANTA TERESA

Banos Termales de Cocalmayo - We will wake up in the middle of the jungle today with beautiful sounds of birds, enjoy a cup of fresh homemade coffee. It’s then a 4-hour hike using an amazing original Inca trail that connected Machu Picchu with Vilcabamba “The Last Capital of the Incas”. Along the way you will find avocados, maniocs, oranges, mangoes, cacao, coffee and coca plantations. Arriving to Quellomayu for lunch. Later will be another 4-hour walk upstream along the Urubamba River to the thermo-medicinal springs of Cocalmayu (pure volcanic water) good for bones, stress, muscles and headaches. After soaking our bodies in the pools. We take a bus to Santa Teresa where we spend the night in a local hotel.

Llaqtapata - After enjoying a delicious breakfast we will make our way to Lucmabamba (2,000m/6,600ft). First, your tour guide will take you in a organic coffee tour, then, we pick up another original Inca trail for 3 hours to Llaqtapata; this is another extraordinary Incan Site located right in front of Machu Picchu, you will have time to explore and enjoy the beauty of the site as you learn more about the Incan history. The second part is a relatively easy 2-hour downhill to the hydroelectric station where we have lunch. After lunch is another 3-hour hike to Aguas Calientes. Arriving in the city around 5 pm. Dinner at a local restaurant.

MACHUPICCHU (LOST CITY OF THE INCAS)

Machu Picchu - On our final day, we have to get up very early to prepare for Machu Picchu and take the bus. Unforgettable experience - I booked the 4-day Inca Trail through GetYourGuide and through recommendations from TreXperience. The organizer prepared and carried out everything smoothly and very professionally. Our guide Pepe led us safely through the trail, was highly professional and told us a lot of historical information about the Inca sites and the lives of the Incas during the hike. He also knew all the tricks thanks to his years of experience and so we were the first at Maccu Picchu and were able to enjoy the view on our own. Thank you Pepe and the TreXperience team for the unforgettable 4 days!

Incredible adventure! - Great organization and support. Excellent food, prepared by a chef. Our guide, Carlos, was always attentive and proactive. Arriving at Machu Picchu after 4 days of hiking is priceless! Pure emotion! The trail requires moderate physical fitness and provides incredible contact with nature! It's very worth it.

Incredible tour, perfect way to see the Andes and Macchu Picchu - This tour was amazing! Vicente was awesome, the perfect guide. He was incredible knowledgeable, our jungle hiking turned into a culinary experience as he showed us all the best fruits, peppers, etc. I went with three friends and there was no one else on the tour, so we basically had a private tour. Highly highly recommend this tour, and get Vicente if you can!

Wondful tour and amazingly organised! - Could not reccomend this tour enough, from start to finish we were well looked after and everything was organised so well. We had Pepe and Rosmel as our tour guides and they were the best, really great hosts. The Machu Picchu 4 day hike is really special, covering some amazing landscapes and finishing up at the site itself. The Trexperience team really looked after us and also looked after the porters, we spent time with them and got to know them, forming a big team for the hike. Part of the team was a chef, the food was amazing and we were provided loads of little details that really made it special. 10/10

Exceptional Team - We had such an amazing time on this trip. We were blown away by the food that was provided for each meal by Celso, but especially by the fact that he baked an entire cake while camping. The entire team made us feel very well taken care of. The porters amazed us by their strength and by how everything would be set up in our campsites by the time we got to the next stop. Exceptional team 😊

Variety and fun adventures the entire time - This was the perfect tour for my family with tons of variety, from mountain biking to zip lines, to hiking the inka trail, to river rafting, to hot springs, to roasting coffee, to cable cars! My kids are not normally this active but they were having so much fun they just kept going and going. Our guide Roger was both fun and educational, teaching us along the way about the culture and traditions. I will be recommending this tour to all my friends and family and I would definitely do it again. Thank you to everyone who made this trip an experience of a lifetime.
