Great Cooking Class and Food - This is an amazing experience learning to cook with a family. They kicked us up in town and took us back to their place for an amazing afternoon and evening. We got to see how they made rugs, did some cooking of many dishes and ate together. Very delicious and hospitable. They even took us to a spice shop on our request and helped us buy spices. Highly recommend for a real Indian experience.

Authentic cooking experience - Our group of friends decided to try out Indian cooking and this was such a highlight of our trip. It was such an authentic experience, from being welcomed into the home, to learning how to make delicious food and then the best of all, eating your hard work. This is an experience not too miss.

An absolute must! - Mamata Prajapats cooking class was the highlight of my stay in Jodhpur! We called the day before to confirm a start time that worked for our group and they transported us to and from their home for no extra cost. From start to finish we were made to feel welcomed and at home. We were able to meet the family and as well as learning how to make a delicious, authentic, Rajasthani meal, we were able to learn about their traditional rug/weaving art, culture, and community. I’m gluten free and was able to everything but the wheat chapatis (lots of yummy chickpea and millet flour is used) which was wonderful. My friends and I loved this experience and I would seriously recommend to anyone visiting Jodhpur to consider doing this class or staying at their guesthouse.

Amazing and friendly cooking class - I booked this the previous day, and was lucky enough to find this. Communication was excellent throughout, then was collected on-time from Jodhpur and driven to their quiet, peaceful village location. I was greeted very early both in the pickup and when I arrived at the experience. The cooking was great fun being very involved and being shown how to cook Indian food with modern facilities and also over a traditional firepit. It took about 3 hours, starting with making chai, then cooking a meal I enjoyed from scratch after. I also saw how they traditionally weave products as this is done at the site. I really enjoyed this cooking lesson and would strongly recommend , for the cooking and for the friendliness of all the people involved.

Authentic experience! - We enjoyed the cooking class a lot! It was authentic and the food was very good. As we stayed in Jodphur city we appreciated the pick up and drop off. In the description they write the class takes 2-3h. In total with pick up and drop off we had around 5-6h:) But we planned enough time so it was not a problem for us! A special thank you to lovely Mamata; a wonderful, hardworking and strong woman! Thank You!!!
