Additional Information
We commence our journey on top-quality electric bikes which are fully suspended, from our Original North base. The route takes us south, through the Fossselsskógur woodland, and ascends to Fljótsheiði to take in the breathtaking views.
We’ll then retreat to the forest where we’ll indulge in farm-fresh refreshments. Our next stop is the Ullarfoss waterfall, originating from Goðafoss.
Before we set off, we’ll conduct a briefing on safety norms and how to maneuver the e-bikes. The path is an off-road trail with a few hills and muddy patches. However, thanks to the e-bikes, you can select the difficulty level.
The tour kicks off at 17:00 (5pm).

Fantastic e-bike tour - Such a wonderful afternoon’s activity, with a helpful and friendly guide. My daughters aged 16 and 22 and my husband and I all really enjoyed ourselves. Stunning location and such fun cycling through the forest and by the river.

Great experience - With a group of friends we did a bike tour with Sigrún and what a trip! The bikes are really good so it is very easy to control how intense the workout is. The surrounding is beautiful and diverse, biked through the forest, by the banks of Skjalfandafljót, picking up some blueberries and saw the beautiful waterfall Ullarfoss.
Sigrún was really fun guide, told us stories about the area and the history.
We had picknick and ate very good smoked salmon on a rye bread.
Experience that we truly recommend.

Great e-bike trip in a beautiful suroundings - I took my 15-year-old on this bike trip with Original North and we had a wonderful time. The bikes were first class, the surroundings beautiful, and the trails were nice. A very enjoyable experience with super friendly hosts, highly reccommend!

Great scenery and e-bikes, hidden gems - Spent a night in a family tent and went on the e-bike tour the next day. Family of four (2 teens) and we all loved it. Forest, waterfalls, river, hidden gems all close by and all made easy with great, brand new e-bikes. Totally recommend for activies and scenery.

Fantastic experience! - Fantastic experience! Wonderful tour on ebikes through the country side including a visit to the Ullarfoss waterfall. Even though some of the roads could be a challenge for non-experienced bikers, the ebikes made it very easy. Our guide really made the difference and gave it the finishing touch with her information on the surroundings, Iceland in general and her personal approach. Delicious as well was the homemade bread with smoked salmon we got during a break. Definitely an activity I recommend while in the area!

Amasing tours, open for everyone - June 2022: Beautifull tour with owner. E-Bikes are new! We went trough the national forest, beautifull nature and a wonderfull waterfall!

Great way to immerse yourself in the area, get some exercise, and get off the beaten path! - Great full suspension eMTB bikes. Ride through the forest, by the water, and do a quick hike to a huge waterfall. Also provided with delicious smoked trout on flat rye bread along with hot chocolate. Also good hospitality by the owners of the property that provided a good narrative of history of the area.

Camp boutique e bike tour - Birkir was a fabulous guide . The ride took us through their land and to a beautiful waterfall. It lasted 3 hours and a delicious snack of their own smoked salmon was offered along with hot chocolate . We were also glamping on the grounds which was incredible so this made it all more special Our first experience on an e bike and in Iceland. We can’t wait to do it all over again
