If you like panoramic view without climbing, don’t miss this experience. - The multi cabin funicular is an impressive engineering achievement followed by two cable cars you will get to see amazing view of the valley, the river and the city of Innsbruck. It is windy and cold even in July but it worth it! You can walk towards the peak to get even a better view. * if you have the time and energy you can climb up through the forest.

Loved it! - Overwhelmed by the view. Worth it! Have the tickets ready at all times while shifting the carts on your way up and down. If you have the time, take a walk before going down. We arrived late to Innsbruck and had to run to make last trip up. We went up at 17.00 and made it back down with the last trip 18.00 from the top.

Enchanting Nordkette - We recently visited Innsbruck but the trip is not complete without visiting Nordkette. This is one of the must-see places to see in the area . Your journey starts at Congress station in Innsbruck. From center of Innsbruck or historic old town you can walk along the streets lined with cafes and souvenir shops and also see the Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof), a symbol of the city. We reserved the tickets to Nordkette well in advance to save time at the counter. When you buy a round trip trip to Nordkette, you will take a Hungerburg Funicular to your first stop. This is the first stop for your picture spot. The views are spectacular. Here you need to change to the Seegruben cable car . The ride up to Seegruben is simply exhilarating and views are extraordinary. You see mountain bikers and hikers climbling the mountain. On Seegruben we got to see goats that were ambling along the mountain. The temperature starts to dip by 10-15 degrees F . Consider taking a light jacket with you. Then to reach up to the top you need to take the Hafelkar cable car. On a clear day the views are out of the world . The temperatures will dip another 5-10 degrees F from Seegruben. If you are up for it, I strongly recommend hiking up to the Hafelkar peak which will take a total of 30 minutes from "Top of the Innsbruck" sign. It is totally worth it as you get to see various other mountain peaks . You then follow the same path downwards . I would recommend at least 3 to 3.5 hours to give yourself ample time for travel and enjoying the scenic views and taking pictures. Overall this is was an amazing experience.

Breathtaking views. - This is a must-do in Innsbruck. It’s a 2-part trip to get to the top, but well worth it with beautiful views along the way. From the Golden Roof in Old Town, it’s an easy 5-minute walk to the Congress station for the Hungerburgbahn funicular. It’s a fun ride that takes about 10 minutes. When you exit at the Hungerburg station, it’s a short walk to the tram station to go to the top. There are a few cafes in the area. The tram ride up takes about 10 minutes. Once at the top, you are greeted with breathtaking views and some cooler weather. There’s a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. There are several hiking trails, a via ferrata, a playground, and an observation platform that extends over the edge. You can also take another short tram ride all the way to the top We would have liked to spend more time up top exploring a little more, but we were only in town for the afternoon. The whole trip for us took about 2 hours, but allow at least half a day if you plan to do some hiking or other activities up top.

Gorgeous Innsbruck - Awesome activity! Beautiful views of the city. Wish it hadn’t been rainy, but we still had a nice time. (Hang on to your ticket. It has to be scanned at each level.)

Amazing views - I'm going to start with the bad, because it's short, then get to the good. Bad: getting up that mountain, first by funicular then by two trams, was very crowded. Like New York Sunday at rush hour. If you are claustrophobic, you're going to struggle. However, the rides are fairly short, and with a little patience its not a deal breaker. Once at the top, people dispersed and it did not feel crowded to me. Good: The views were spectacular. We spent a lot of time viewing different angles. You could see Innsbruck, the rest of the river valley, and you could clearly see several different chains within the Alps. Overall well worth it, and I'd do it again. If you like mountains and don't have the time or energy to climb the Alps, this is your best choice.

Never book this adventure ahead. You may be throwing your money away. - I never dreamed when I booked this cable car ride from home that Innsbruck would be raining 6 of the 7 first days of July and this would be our view from the Top of Innsbruck. I'm certain this experience is amazing on the perfect day, but sadly this taught me an expensive lesson about booking advance tickets, even in the middle of summer. It was such a massive disappointment, a huge waste of our money, and I would urge everyone to only buy tickets in person when you can assess the weather conditions in the moment. I should also note, on the ground there was zero fog, but we literally ascended into the rain clouds which were hanging between the bottom tier, all the way to the tippy top.

Horrible customer service - We bougth our tickets and unfortunately lost one in the zoo. Wasn’t cheap for a combo ticket with the zoo. They refuse to do anything about it. So i can only recommend to buy the tickets online. By doing so, hopefully their so called service employees will lose the job at one point.
