Thousands of river rafting and adventure seekers from all over the world visit Arachthos river rafting. This river is for all you don’t need previous reacting experience. The adventure is about 5-6hours ( according of water level) including transportation, you will need to have a second set of swim wear or under wear. Our meeting point will be at your hotel or at Alpine zones base were you will be transferred to our buses to our point of departure on the river of Arachthos at the bridge of Politsas, you will be given specialized rafting equipment which has been approved by proper health standards. (Sterilized waterproof suits, shoes, paddles, helmets and life jackets. There will be a 20 minutes brief on how to descend the river, then your adventure begins.

Just a WONDERFUL experience! - We had heard about the possibility of rafting on the Arachthos River but after speaking to other guests at our hotel who raved about it, we decided to give it a go. And we are so delighted that we did as it will certainly rate as one of the best, if not the best, experience, of our 6 week tour of Greece. The scenery is just spectacular and beyond description. Even the drive to the starting point from the meeting point is mind-blowingly stunning. But undoubtedly the experience was made all the better by the professionalism of the Alpine Zone Rafting team. From the reservation by phone, (thank you Achilleas), to the careful driving from the meeting point to the rafting start point, to the safety equipment and water provided, everything was top level. And to top it all, you knew from the start that you were dealing with professional and highly capable rafters. Their attention to safety was first class, (at the meeting point, it was immediately spotted that I was wearing a wrist band with my medical issues), and on the water this continued all the time ... but always with fun. And although we were in a raft with Kostas who was superb, multilingual and informative, we would have had no problem being with any of staff in the 4 rafts as you could see them all operating to the same standards. And so that we never forget our experience, later in the evening we received copies of all the photos Kostas had taking during our rafting experience by WhatsApp, included in the the price. So thank Alpine Zone Rafting and Kostas for a wonderful time in your wonderful company. Paul & Sylvia
