Time to tour the Island by bike! No waiting in line, your guide will have your bike rental taken care of. Your expert guide will show you around the Island. You will experience sunken graveyards, shipwrecks, castles, and much more.

Additional Information

Maximize your time in the Aran Islands in the BEST way possible.

Situated just 20 minutes from the coastline of Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher, Inisheer is the tiniest of the 3 Aran Islands.

Once we reach the island, we’ll grab our bikes and embark on a 2-hour tour around the island. If cycling isn’t your cup of tea, we can arrange a tour via a tractor-pulled carriage at no additional cost.

Following the tour, we’ll enjoy freshly-baked scones and a cup of tea while a local resident regales us with stories!

Beyond Expectations - This experience was beyond our expectations. Our guide, Eleanor, did an amazing job of leading our group around the island and was patient with those that straggled behind. She was incredibly knowledgable about, not only the Aran Islands, but Ireland itself. She answered questions, provided pause for the group to take in the views and was quick with a good joke. Eleanor was relatable, kind and clearly beloved by those on Inisheer. When it came time for tea and scones at Café Úna, she sat with the group, chatted freely and we were able to find out more about the history of the island from the owner. This was probably one of our favorite things we did in Ireland and we are thankful to Eleanor for making it so.

Thanks Conor, Awesome Bike Ride!!! - Take this tour!!!! This was so easy, convenient, and cool! Conor took great care of us. Una the chef of the tea shop accommodated our gluten allergies and made bus special for us. The bike ride was a real workout but so fun! Conor was engaging and super knowledgeable. He filled us in on history but also day-to-day life. We came for our wedding and took our friends for a private tour led by Conor - this was the best planned event we had. Next time we’re back, we’ll be doing this again and specifically asking for Conor. He managed our group flawlessly. Thank you!

Memorable experience with breathtaking views! - My husband and I truly enjoyed our day trip to the Aran Islands! The weather made the experience even more adventurous from the very beginning. We assume that is the reason that we were the only ones on the tour for that day. All the seasons occurred in just a few hours. It ended being one the best experiences that we've had. The history, culture and beauty of the island is just breathtaking. There will not be enough words to describe the how fond we are of our guide, Sofia! She is such a sweet soul with a wealth of knowledge. She is really passionate about what she does and we were blessed to have spent the entire time with her. Thank you again for such a memorable experience!

Fun filled day - Cold, windy start at Doolin Pier I thought oh no, then I saw Ollie skipping down in his orange Ollie Tours Jumper , shorts and full of beans . Had a debrief of the day then our Tour Guide Tommy turned up. WOW what a wealth of knowledge, stories did Tommy have . I’m not a strong bike rider I’m also in my late 50’s after 10 mins I thought I would give up but I didn’t, I pushed the bike up a few hills but it was well worth it. Tommy and the group waited it was no trouble. Inishee has loads of history I could have listened to Tommy for Days what a Story Teller. I had the best day

The best way to spend a day - It was a rainy windy start to the trip. We opted for a van tour rather than a bike tour. Fair weather bikers are we. Our tour guide, Tommy, was efficient, flexible with planning, and utterly charming. He also kept good track of us all. We had a very informative tour from Stefan. We made three stops. At the shipwreck, which has a coffee truck nearby, at the cemetery with a sunken church, and at OBrien"s castle. I highly recommend this tour and hope to.do it again some day.

Scones, Bikes and Pints with Tommy and everyone is speaking Irish - Super choppy ferry to the island in the middle of intense misting and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Our guide Tommy and the incredibly lovely local Una really brought us into the rich culture of the Aran Islands and its vibrantly creative people. Everything about it was stunning and the extra care from our guide (answering every question we had from a to z) made us feel so welcomed. By the end, we knew so much about the Aran Islands and even the current climate in Ireland itself. Another reason we want to move to Ireland.

Great fun, unique experience - very informative - I cannot recommend Ollie and his tour high enough - he was an excellent tour guide, was fun and informative (being a local) and delivered a great and unique experience! Nothing was left to chance - a well organised tour.
