Embrace the unique experience of our non-peak season journey where you get to marvel at the diverse scenery of Iceland without the summer rush. Our sturdy, trusty horses will take you directly into the peacefulness of nature, unperturbed by frosty terrains or crunchy snow. We traverse local farming paths to reach the strikingly beautiful ‘Reykjafoss’ waterfall. In the winter, it’s cloaked in a frozen allure and adorned with icicles. The memorable experience of navigating your surroundings like the Vikings on horseback will indelibly imprint in your memories.

Meeting is 30 minutes before departure. In Varmahlíð, you turn off Ringroad no.1 onto road no. 752. When you are on road no. 752, our office is the first building on the left (150 m from the junction). It’s a white and blue painted building.

My wife TÖLT me to do this - We highly recommend this experience. My wife and I are on our honeymoon, and we did the 90 minute tour on our horses Dewey and Fingett (spelling??). Both horses were very tame yet fun to ride. Our guide Julia was excellent and made us feel at ease, and even let us do the TÖLT fast walk on them. I'm not an experienced rider but it was fun. Amazing views, great time. Thank you!

Well worth it! - What a beautiful break from the car. The countryside is breathtaking. Our guide was informative and entertaining. She allowed us to try the different walking patterns of the horses which was appreciated since this was our first time on the Icelandic breed.

lovely ride - Absolute lovely horse ride through the beautiful landscape of iceland. We went to a nice waterfall and even got the chance to try the famous tölt gait.
The experience was great and we even were able to get some hot drinks after the ride. Thanks again <3

Chasing Waterfalls - The scenery at the location was breathtaking, and I had the privilege of enjoying a private tour since I was the sole participant. Despite the chilly weather, they provided me with an overall to layer over my clothes and a helmet. Their attention to my comfort ensured a fantastic experience. The waterfall we visited was stunning. I even got to experience the tölt, a unique gait that distinguishes the Icelandic horse from other breeds.

Great Day on the Icelandic Horses - Guides were great! It ended up being just my husband and I due to previous days weather but we ended up getting a great day! Love how the horses trot ot makes an easy ride- wish we could go faster but that just my personal wish :)

Great experience! - Incredible experience. Our guide was very kind, we see that the horses are well treated. The tour was beautiful and pleasant, there were only 4 of us + the guide so it was a small group, we loved it. There are many brands for horseback riding in Iceland but I recommend this one without hesitation.

Unforgettable Experience and Trip Highlight - This tour was amazing! Once in a lifetime experience riding through the scenic mountains. Our guide (Felecia) was amazing! So kind and so helpful, even got us the perfect group photo in front of a waterfall. The horses were the stars! Fed them a well deserved treat at the end.

Amazing experience - Lovely host and guide , stunning nature and mostly wonderful horses ………..
We really had a super nice ride and can’t recommend this trip enough . For sure we will file back given the opportunity - perhaps now we have tried the winter ride it would be nice to come back and experience in the summer

Awesome Experience - Our host Eli was fantastic. The tour was beautiful and we got to do many things like cross a river/ switch gates/take pictures in front of a waterfall. Highly recommend!
