Landing & Snorkeling at Phantom Island
Phantom Island’ is an island made of sandy beach floating in the ocean on the west side of Ishigaki Island. The name comes from the fact that it changes its shape depending on the tide level. Amazing experience! - Ishigaki Snorkeling Tour at Blue Cave and Phantom Island is an absolute must-do for anyone visiting Ishigaki! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and unforgettable. The tour guide, Mahiro, was super nice, he made everyone felt comfortable and confident in the water. The Blue Cave was a mesmerizing sight, with its stunning azure waters and vibrant marine life. Snorkeling and Phantom Island were equally breathtaking, offering a glimpse into the diverse underwater world of Ishigaki. The equipment was provided and the small group size allowed for a personalized experience. Overall, this tour exceeded all expectations and was definitely memorable. Highly recommend!

Amazing and well organised - The tour itself was amazing and the snorkelling spots were beautiful! Blue cave was our favourite, it felt like we were in finding Nemo. Although the corals were mostly dead, there were plenty of fish and we were lucky to see a turtle. Our tour guide, Arai-san was very knowledgeable and was passionate about the island and wildlife. He took care of us really well and we felt safe in his care. He spoke good English too! He even recommended us great lunch and dinner spots during our stay. And he also took a lot of photos of us, the marine life and sent them to us via WhatsApp/LINE. Will definitely come back, highly recommend! Thank you Arai-san and the adventure pipi team.

Great family experience - We had a wonderful day with the incredible staff of Ishigaki Adventure PiPi. We snorkelled in the morning and visited Phantom Island, then had 2 hours free for lunch before heading out to snorkel at Blue Cave. We saw many fish and both our guides took great care to make us feel safe, welcome and well-informed in English.

It was a memorable experience. - We landed on a beautiful sandy beach and snorkeled. We were able to take some memorable photos. The instructors were very attentive to everyone's health and made the experience safe and enjoyable. If you get tired, they'll pull you back with a float (lol)

A tranquil tour - The weather was beautiful and our guide, Yusuke, was patient and attentive as he lead us through an easy SUP and kayak tour, providing details of the formation and growth of the Mangrove.

The communication was not... - The communication was not very good. The day before we were to go we tried to communicate some difficulties we were having with immigration in getting off the cruise ship in time to meet this tour. No response until late morning the next day - after we had tried hard to get to the designated meeting place. But it was too late. No sympathy for our plight. If you are coming in on a cruise I would not recommend this, if for nothing else, the timing. Just get on a ferry yourself - it was cheaper anyway.
