Excellent introduction to Aegina - We knew nothing of Aegina but decided to go over for the day as it was so close to Athens (40 minutes by fast ferry from Piraeus). So glad we did the town walking tour. It is a beautiful place and very different pace and vibe to Athens. Our guide Tassos was very friendly and knowledgeable being a local. We had a good cross section of very old history and modern culture. Thanks to Tassos and Aegina Dream Travel for a memorable experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing island tour with great flexibility! - I was staying in Aegina just a few days, a little bit off-season, after a business trip to Athens and found many tours were not available. I reached out to Aegina Dream Travel and they were very accommodating. But even more impressive, after I had spent my first day investigating the local area myself, they were able to provide a guide with a car so I could go to the Temple of Aphaia and see much more of the island. My guide, Maria, was delightful and so well informed regarding the ancient and modern history of this beautiful island. I was so happy with my tour and very glad that they were able to pivot and provide the exact experience I wanted - I strongly recommend!!

Great introduction to Aegina Town - Tassos was a very interesting and extremely knowledgeable young man and his enthusiasm for his home island was infectious! Not only did he tell us about the history of Aegina Town but we also learned about the local culture (we did ask a lot of questions). It was like having a stroll and an enjoyable chat with a friend (OK, with a grandson!). His english was excellent. We would definitely recommend this tour. The only slightly disappointing thing was the meze at the end of the walk. I had specifically said when I booked that one of the two of us was vegetarian. The small plate of rather uninteresting items was more than half meat. We had hoped to have been introduced to some local specialities.

Explore the Island - On the mainroad are a lot of shops. It´s typical touristshops. There are som interesting churches and monasteries on the iland. The prices by the restaurants and bars in the middle of the island are very cheap. Go and watch, what the island can serve you. Because in the city all stuff is much more expensive.

Simply wonderful!! - We had a wonderful time in Egina with Costas and Giannis. They went above and beyond to make this an memorable experience for us. They were not only very knowledgeable about the history of the island but also gave us a taste of the modern local cuisine. When facing logistic difficulties due to the public transport strike, they were responsive and accomodating with potentially changing the time of our visit. Cannot recommend them more! Great guide and fun little island! - This walking tour was great! Tassos was our guide and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, social, and friendly. He took us to the historical sites of Aegina and gave us a great overview of the history of this little island. He also took us to a little cafe and treated us to drinks and snacks. The tour overall took ~3 hours and it can get tiring on a hot day, so be prepared. I would also make a day-trip and visit some of the beaches or nearby islands before or afterwards.
