Day 1: Istanbul Arrival Day – 21st April
Welcome to Istanbul! 4 or 5-star hotel accommodation will be provided. We will inform you of your hotel name and address one month in advance. If you require an airport transfer, we can arrange it for an additional fee and offer you a welcome beer.

• Istanbul - Day 2: Istanbul City Tour – 22nd April
  We will embark on an Istanbul City Tour. Our first stop will be the Hippodrome, the ancient site of chariot races, featuring three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Next, we will visit the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque due to its stunning interior decorated with blue Iznik tiles. Across from the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, it stands as a magnificent example of Byzantine architecture. For 1000 years, it was the largest church in the world, adorned with beautiful 6th-century golden mosaics. Today, it serves as a mosque. We will also visit a unique shopping area with reasonably priced spices and herbs.

• Canakkale - Day 3: Gallipoli Tour - 23rd April
  (Breakfast and dinner included)

We will depart for Gallipoli at 7:00 am (a 4.5-hour journey). During the trip, we will watch the latest documentaries about the Gallipoli campaign. The Gallipoli peninsula tour will commence, sharing the epic stories and facts of the soldiers at sites such as the Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Cemetery, Quinn’s Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, the Nek, and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. Overnight in Edremit.

• Troy (Truva) - Day 4: Troy Tour & ANZAC Day Cove – 24th April
  (Breakfast and buffet dinner included)

Today, we will visit the Trojan Horse and the ancient city of Troy, located across the Dardanelles (approximately 1.5 hours, including ferry). Troy is one of history’s most famous cities, reminding us of Hector, Achilles, and the Achaean Greeks, as well as Helen, Paris, Agamemnon, and Priam. Your guide will share the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse, and Helen of Troy. If you wish to buy snacks for the overnight camp, today is the best time to do so. There are also food and drink stalls available at ANZAC Cove. At 5:30 pm, we will meet at the hotel for a buffet dinner before heading to ANZAC Cove for the Dawn Service. Overnight at ANZAC Cove.

Please Note: The governments of Australia and New Zealand have announced that the Gallipoli peninsula will be closed on 24th April for safety and security purposes, so cemeteries and memorials cannot be visited.

• Anzac Cove - Day 5: ANZAC Dawn Service at Commemorative Site Gallipoli - 25th April

Remember to bring warm clothes, sleeping bags, wet weather gear, torches, hats, sunscreen, and good walking shoes, as Gallipoli remains as cold and dark as it was 108 years ago! Optionally, we can provide sleeping bags; please let us know at the time of booking.

After attending the ANZAC services, we will travel to Istanbul at approximately 15:00. The bus trip will take around 5 – 6 hours, so you will be back at the hotel by approximately 21:00. Overnight in Istanbul.

• Istanbul - Day 6: Istanbul - 26th April
