It was converted into a museum in 1935 and It was converted in 2020 renovated into a mosque and welcoming both local and foreign visitors.

• Eyup Sultan Mosque - We are visiting Eyüp Sultan Hazretleri in Istanbul’s Eyüp neighbourhood, outside the city walls, near the Golden Horn, the Eyüp Sultan Mosque (Turkish: Eyüp Sultan Camii) stands. The building today dates back to the early 19th century. The mosque complex consists of a mausoleum, the place where the typical born and companion of Muslim prophet Muhammad, Abu Ayub al-Ansari, is said to be buried. We shall visit the tomb as well.

• Balat - One of the hottest districts in Istanbul, Balat is home to beautiful architecture and a vibrant culture. Once the city’s Jewish quarter, Balat is still dotted with centuries-old synagogues, as well as historic churches and mosques. Here, you can browse quaint antique shops, cozy tea rooms and brand-new cafes, and walk down to the waterfront to take in the views of the Golden Horn. The neighborhood is also a popular spot for street photography.
