Additional Information

Start your half-day expedition with a private pickup from your lodging in Athens. Settle into your plush, air-conditioned luxury vehicle or minibus and view the landscape as you journey along the coastal route to Corinth. Pause to witness the Corinth Canal, the slim canal from the 19th century that connects the Saronic Gulf of the Aegean Sea to the Ionian Sea. Capture pictures, and then proceed to the ancient Corinth archaeological site, a significant commerce hub during Greek and Roman periods that marked the juncture of southern and northern Greece. Investigate the dispersed ruins of temples, a bathhouse, forum and theater, and observe the bema — a stone platform where it is said St Paul once stood before an assembly of judges. Progress to Acrocorint on top of the hill. While touring the sun-drenched remnants, pause to immerse in the spectacular views of the Saronic Gulf stretching out in the distance. Later, you have the option to break for lunch, where you can savor Greek traditional fare and enjoy locally produced wine.

Comfortable Tour with Friendly Driver - I had a comfortable, meaningful & impressive trip to Corinth. The driver, Mr George, is indeed polite, efficient and safe in his driving. I felt much relaxed too as George did not rush me to go quick during my tour. He even went extra mile to alight me near the Acropolis subway station as I requested. He shared many knowledge to me about Corinth. We chatted just like friends.

Fabulous Tour - Fabulous tour! George was an excellent guide, and he has a good sense of humor. His English is very very good and his accent is understandable. He also has an amazing knowledge of history as well as all things Greek. His driving was good, not scary and not slow. I didn’t think I wanted to go to the canal, but it was incredibly interesting and we learned so much about it from George. The only downside is that the tour description says that a guide can be used at Ancient Corinth. I thought that meant we could get one there at the museum, but it must be arranged beforehand, so let the tour company know if you want that when you reserve the trip. It was confusing without a guide, but that was not George or the company’s fault. All in all, a wonderful morning!

Wonderful tour of Corinth! - We are so thankful for the time spent with George and our tour of ancient Corinth. George was very knowledgeable about all things Greek, and that passion radiates from him. You hang onto every word he says as he guides you through the Canal, Temple of Apollo and Acrocorinth. He knows the area so well and has made friendships that led us to incredible food at Marino’s, with a delicious meal shared and impactful service. You will absolutely not regret your time with this tour as the views are breathtaking, and the company is just as influential!

Wonderful trip to Ancient Corinth! - Giorgos picked us up at our Airbnb in a gorgeous Mercedes sedan. He was early and communicative. Really took the stress away and made our day absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, helpful, laidback and an impeccable driver. Acrocorinth was our personal favourite. The mixture of different cultural eras and relics are fascinating - we could have explored there for days. Ancient Corinth was brilliant too - recommend the museum and a restaurant called Marinos!

An excellent trip to Corinth - As we are Christian, going to Corinth is our target. We had a private tour and our tour driver Nick is a very nice young man. His driving skill is very good and the car is very comfortable. We went to all the places as scheduled and added a spot as we requested. A wonderful trip and a wonderful driver.

Very accommodating - Alex was very nice. He made sure we saw all the places we wanted and was accommodating offering us time to eat, and offered other drop off locations which was very helpful given our itinerary in the afternoon!! It would have been nice to have more history and information, so we had to do a lot of research on our own afterwards. If you’re looking for a “tour” this isn’t exactly it, but if you’re looking for a great and friendly driver that makes sure to accommodate you I highly recommend!!
