- Corinth Canal - Depart from and drive along the coast line until we reach the Corinth Canal where we will make a brief stop.
The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island.

The canal was dug through the Isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base. The canal was constructed from 1880 to 1893, however, it is something that shipowners and captains had dreamed about for some 2000 years before it became a reality.

Excellent driver, excellent destination = excellent day - 23.04.24: This was realistically the only way to get to Mistras from Athens without hiring a car and braving the Athens traffic. Our driver, Anistes, was excellent - good company, safe and sensible driving and we felt in very good hands all day. We had a quick stop to see the Corinth Canal over 3 hours at Mistras followed by a really nice reasonable lunch at family restaurant. Mistras was excellent and lived up to our expectations - all in all an excellent day.

Best service, Best drivers - We booked transfers to and from the airport through here, as well as the private tour. We added Ancient Corinth to our trip and the added price was incredibly reasonable. The views were second to none. All of our drivers seemed like old friends that we’d known forever, instead of strangers. Every driver we had was incredibly knowledgeable and made the drive infinitely better. A huge thank you to Dionisis for making everything stress free and seamless! Your drivers are top tier and all the vehicles we rode in were immaculate.

Road Trip to Wineries and Costa Navarino - We have been using Athens Limo Tours-Service for close to 18 years. Dionisis (Dennis) is incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He has a great team of drivers and the vans and cars are new or like new and impeccably cleaned and maintained. This Summer of 2021 we were in Greece and he provided all our airport transfers and organized our trip to the Westin Resort in Costa Navarino. We left Athens early and along the way we stopped at the Corinth Canal and a winery in Nemea that he had recommended. It was a fantastic day trip and a great way to get out of Athens and see the Greek countryside. You dont have to go to an island to see the beauty of Greece. I have used his company every time I am in Greece (at least 10 times) and he and his team have driven us on tours, airport transfers and sight seeing. I would recommend Dennis to everyone, business people, couples and families, for whatever trip you are planning in Greece. He can make great recommendations and organize exclusive touring experiences as well.

Incomplete visit to Sparta and Mystras - I had high expectations for the visit to Sparta but the general opinion is that the most interesting thing is the visit to Mystras, and we had a rainy day so we couldn't enjoy the entire tour. The driver was very communicative and informative and cared about us. Find out well what can be done before making the decision
