Additional Information

The Saint Paul Footsteps in Corinth tour is special as it meticulously traces the journey outlined in the bible, guided by a Christian Protestant driver. The tour takes us to Ancient Corinth, where Saint Paul resided from 51AD to 53AD. A half-hour stop at the ancient Harbor of Kechries is included; this is where Saint Paul set sail for Ephesus in Turkey. Here, he overnighted with Prissila and Akila, both of whom he baptized. Saint Paul also lived as a tentmaker along with them. The tour also includes a half-hour stop at the renowned Corinthian Canal. Immersing in the first Ancient church of Saint Paul and the Bema where he preached truly enriches the tour. Note that an official guide is not included, and hiring one would incur an additional cost. Our English-speaking driver is well-informed and will provide tour information, but he is not a licensed guide. Please note that entrance fees for monuments are not included.

  • Our drivers are not official tour guides, but they are knowledgeable and can provide fascinating commentary in fluent English. Although they will not enter the sites with you, they can answer all of your questions about the places you visit with this tour.
  • Third party activities and especially extreme sports are not allowed during the tour. This can be a cause for immediate cancellation of the tour.

Wonderful way to see Corinth - Corinth and Paul make for a fascinating tour! Pericles, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made the day very fun. We stopped at a half dozen places, but highlights were definitely the museum and site at Ancient Corinth and the Castle that overlooks Corinth. In Ancient Corinth you have a chance to see a sprawling town from antiquity with a wonderful and descriptive adjacent museum. It's not nearly as crowded as some of the Athens sites and you can really get a feel for how life flowed 2000 years ago. The castle was remarkable (wear sturdy shoes if you plan to hike much - the stone roads/paths can be slippery and sharp), and the views were truly amazing. We spent about a half a day on site in Corinth with a meal at the end in a local seaside restaurant that was a real treat. Pericles told great stories and adapted to our pace - a very professional guide. All in, we'd highly recommend the experience.

Ancient Corinth, Paul's Ministry, and History - Excellent tour. We spent the day traveling with an excellent driver, Pericles, who has been showing people the historical sites of Paul for 25 years. We visited the Corinth Canal, ancient Corinth, the beach where Paul baptized Corinthians, and St Paul's Church. Pericles knows the history and details of Paul's ministry.

Perfect tour to start off our visit of Greece. - Our tour guide for the Saint Paul Ancient Corinth Tour was amazing. One of the nicest and most informative persons I have ever met. He helped us understand some of the original meanings of words..names...places. He went the extra step to get us into a Greek Orthodox church so we could look around - absolutely beautiful inside! There were six of us in our family. The van was spacious, clean, and comfortable. He even took us on a couple of side trips to seem some great sights. His knowledge of the history of Paul and the Corinth was amazing. He was so appreciative of us having come to visit his country. He was proud of his Greece - and rightly so.

Just okay - What a great opportunity to be in the area where history occurred. We didn’t hire a private guide which I wish we did. Our driver kept on with telling us take our time which ended up causing us to miss out on a couple if stops.
