Highlights
  • Corinth Canal - Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth in the Ionian Sea with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. The canal was initially proposed in classical times and a failed effort was made to build it in the 1st century AD. The canal was dug through the isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for many modern ships. It is currently of little economic importance becoming mainly a tourist attraction. From the bridge, you can enjoy wonderful views and admire the steep limestone walls while you observe the vessels passing by the narrow canal.

Educational fun just for you - This tour puts your group, however small, in the hands of a guide who can explain history, answer questions, and help you make the most of the experience. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and a good driver, which was important because he did all the driving himself. Each stop was interesting and offered splendid views. Greece lovingly preserves its historic sites in a way that other countries might learn from. We enjoyed the tour very much and recommend it.

An awesome private day trip outside of Athens experience - Harry did such a wonderful job of showing my husband and I the canal, Mycenae, Epidaurus & Nafplio. If you’re looking for a more intimate day trip in outside of Athens instead of a larger tour bus experience, I’d highly recommend this company. The employees are local and offer many unique insights to things you will see along the way and are enthusiastic to share the knowledge that they have with you. We will cherish the memories made on this trip with Harry guiding us that was a welcome reprieve from the busy Athens city!

Ancient Greece—a tour not-to-be-missed! - We had a fantastic time touring Ancient Greece with our incredible host George, who shared not only insights about the ancients, but incredibly thoughtful observations about life in Athens today. Cannot imagine a better way to see this beautiful country! George hit the bullseye with every recommendation, from lunch to the dinner we enjoyed in Athen’s City Centre after our tour. Thank you, George and Ioannis—your service is incredible and so appreciated!

Great day with no crowds - We had a great time with George. He took us to all the sites and was very helpful with knowledge. The SUV he picked us up in was lovely and comfortable for the 4 of us. We attended in January so there were no crowds which was awesome. Highly recommend.
