Highlights
  • Corinth Canal - The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island. The canal was dug through the Isthmus at sea level and has no locks. It is 6.4 kilometres (4 mi) in length and only 21.4 metres (70 ft) wide at its base, making it impassable for most modern ships. Nowadays it has little economic importance and is mainly a tourist attraction.

Magnificent, excellent tour guide Dimitri - We had a magnificent Sparta experience, our guide & driver Dimitris Paschalis made the tour extremally special, not only is he an excellent driver, he also knows the history by heart! He shared with us all his history knowledge that was so amazing and interesting. We enjoyed the hike up to the top of Mystra, encourage people to wear sturdy hiking boots and bring water. The hike is really worth it when you reach the acropolis of Mystra. After the hike ate a nice lunch at the restaurant in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous view you can't imagine. The stops we did in Corinth and Sparta during the drive was really worth it. The car was super clean, very comfortable, he was on time. It was a very memorable day. Thank you so much Dimitris, for giving us such a wonderful experience. Greetings from Texas, USA.
