To truly soak in the ‘Beautiful Life’, one needs to leave the city behind. Experience the flavours of local wines and explore the basements of chosen boutique wineries run by families devoted to superior quality production.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Siena (or any location within Siena province) and begin your adventure into the scenic vistas of the Tuscan countryside with a handful of companions and a local guide.
Together, you will explore two vineyards nestled amidst Tuscany’s cascading hills, with both wineries recognized for their specialty: Brunello reds. From there, you will journey to the captivating Medieval-era town of Montalcino. Here, you will tour two ancient wine cellars. After a peaceful stroll within the fortress walls of Montalcino, your next stop will be Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pienza provides impressive views of Val d’Orcia, along with exquisite artisanal crafts and a unique pecorino cheese.
Your lunch will be in Montepulciano, a quaint town offering traditional Tuscan fare in a vast wine cellar that could rival the size of a Cathedral.

Fantastic winery excursion! - Starting with our driver Fabrizio it was a fantastic day. Gorgeous drive through Tuscan countryside, two very interesting winery tours, complete with generous pours and snack. In between an hour on our own in beautiful Pienza and a delicious lunch, also with wine. I highly recommend this experience with no reservations. Niccolò and others at the company very easy to communicate with. If you choose not to rent a car to get out into the countryside, this is the excursion for you!!!!

Awesome Experience - The was a wonderful experience. We toured Pienza and Montepulciano. Everything about the tour was first class starting with our guide, Fab. The tours were beautiful, the wine tasting fun, and the lunch awesome. The staff at Tours of Tuscany were responsive each time we contacted them. They did everything they promised. You won’t be sorry. This will be the highlight of our trip.

Amazing day of wine and making new friends! - Michaela was an amazing tour host explaining the history of Italy culture and wine. Made the ride out very fun and enjoyable.
Both winery’s were beautiful and the wine was amazing. We purchased bottles from both winery’s. The host for the tastings was very knowledgeable and passionate. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Italy!

Great Day! - This was an absolutely wonderful day! Mihai was our driver and he is the very best!!
He took the time to tell us all about the history of the region and was very informative! He also took time to show us around and planned our day carefully and meticulously! He drove us to scenic spots for pictures and took the time to show us around. He made great effort to accommodate our every request and took us to different spots based on our interests.
Tuscany is beautiful and it was the most wonderful experience because of Tours of Tuscany and Mihai! Would recommend this 200%.

Making the most of one day - My sister and I had very limited time in the Siena area and this tour was a perfect way to spend our day sampling wine and food and seeing the beautiful countryside. Our guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable, kind, and funny. Highly recommend.

Totally worth it! - We absolutely loved the tour, Michele was a fantastic guide. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was delicious. You get to stop in a small town that has some of the best views I’ve ever seen. I would 100% do this again! Thanks for everything!
