Travel back in time with this excursion to Ephesus from Izmir. You will tour the vestiges of one of the most surprising ancient cities in the Eastern Mediterranean. We will pick you up at the indicated hotel at 8:00 am and travel in a comfortable minibus to Ephesus, an ancient city located on the Ionia coast. After a trip of an hour and a half, we will reach the site of Ephesus, one of the great tourist attractions in Turkey, since it is one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities in the country. Once there, we will take a guided tour of Ephesus to see some of its monumental jewels, such as the Library of Celsus, one of the most luxurious bibliographic archives of the Roman Empire in the Eastern Mediterranean. Nearby we will find the Roman Theater. Did you know that it had a capacity for 24,000 people? It is impressive! After the visit of Ephesus, we take a lunch. On the other hand, you will also have traditional shopping opportunities for jewelry, leather, or ceramic centers.

Beautiful Ephesus - The tour was amazing. We started in the morning with a good organization of the pick up, punctuality. The information was provided
by the guide Erman with any ocassion: in the bus, at the ephesus, anytime when was important for us to understand and receive an information. With the help of Ermam we entered in this past world of this magnificent city, Ephesus. We appreciate the knowledge of the guide, its enthusiasm, its friendly approache. Also we appreciate the driver, its professionalism. The tour included meal, that was very good. And....Ephesus....magnificent

Excellent guide, accessible tour - What a phenomenal tour! Ezgi was the perfect balance of informational, chatty, and friendly, while also giving us the space to do our own thing when we wanted to. I was worried about being the odd person out as a solo traveler in a group of families and couples, but Ezgi did a great job of breaking the ice in the group and connecting us. We were all laughing and sharing personal stories by the first hour! I went on the hottest day of the summer (so far) and Ezgi made great accommodations to ensure we didn’t get tired or too hot, without losing out on the content of the tour. Overall, I’d recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!!

Excelent experience - Erman Uslu was an excelent guide.
The driver was very nice and secure in his drive.
Lunch could be improved. It was a pleasent place, but the food was not so good.

Day in Ephesus - È stata una giornata meravigliosa! Everything organized in detail. They picked me up on time at 8:00, the trip was pleasant the Guide, Erman, began to tell the story of Ephesus during the trip. A really very kind person, prepared and helpful. He knows a bit of Italian and we chatted during breaks. On the way back I had some friends to join and they had no problem accompanying me to a more comfortable place. Highly recommended

An excellent tour Izmir to Ephesus - A very worthy and well organised excursion. Punctual, with a very good driver and a Mercedes mini bus in excellent condition fully climatized, no queuing times . Erman, our guide, was a very nice person, knowledgeable, polyglot with high cultural understanding. He explained nicely all places of interest and gave all historical information and dimensions. Ephesus as such, is a wonderful place to visit with some 3000 years of history with many civilisations thought out the centuries. We liked it very much despite the heat of the day. Very good buffet food and some visits to local artisan completed the tour. Thanks to Erman and the agency, a great tour.

Great tour, great day!! - Great tour and day overall, it was well timed, with enough time with the group and then solo time to explore. The entrance to Ephesus a d Virgin Mary is extra so you will need to factor that in. Erman our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.
