First, there is nothing better than having both a guide and a driver at your disposal to see and experience exactly what you want, with little to no waiting in lines, no walking distances to get there, and no hassle getting picked back up again afterwards. This alone is worth the price of the tour, but it just gets better. Metin, our fabulous guide, arrived to meet us with a full agenda of the best places to go and things to see, which would more than satisfy those who want to see it all without any limitations. Because we were not so incline, we discussed our desires and personal limitations - like avoiding places requiring us to transverse several flights of stairs without rails, for example. We came up with a perfect, customized itinerary just for us. We even flexed on the fly - making additional changes as we went. This was fantastic! When we found we wanted to stay a little longer in one place - like shopping in the Bazar - we did. Not only did Metin translate for us, he calculated currency conversion as we discussed prices with the various shops. We added stops to sample local cuisine and had a fantastic lunch at a sidewalk cafe. We saw everything we wanted to see and did everything we wanted to do and all the while Metin enlightened us on local history, culture and customs. We had a blast, took treasured photos and finished on a high without being exhausted at the end! We could not recommend this tour too highly.
