The prominent “Palace of Winds” is a reminder of the city’s regal heritage. It reveals the meticulous craftsmanship and brilliant design of the five-story facade resembles a honeycomb, with 953 small openings called Jharokhas that are adorned with elaborate latticework.
  • City Palace of Jaipur - The City Palace in Jaipur is a royal house and historical administrative center of the Jaipur State rulers. The main attractions of The City Palace include Entry Gates, Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and Maharani Palace. The palace is a stunning combination of Mughal and Rajput architecture and is still home to the last ruling royal family.

Here, you can see the 19 astronomical instruments established by Rajput monarch Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan. They are monumental examples in masonry of known instruments but which in many cases have specific characteristics of their own. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the world’s biggest stone sundial. It is close to the City Palace and the Hawa Mahal.
  • Panna Meena ka Kund - Panna Meena Ka Kund step well in Amer is a beautiful hidden gem having a 200-foot-deep stepwell with 1800 symmetrical steps. You get the whole look of Amer Hill which is a photogenic spot. Basically, it is a Baori(known as stepwell), which is an ancient way used for water harvesting.
  • Jal Mahal - The Jal Mahal is a palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur, the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan. You will have the sightseeing of the Jal Mahal from the edge of Man Sagar Lake as The palace is a five-storied building, of which four floors remain underwater.
  • Monkey Temple - Built in the Aravalli Hills, 10 kilometers east of Jaipur, near a mountain pass. You may view the monkeys up close as well as feed them as they live freely in the forest and come to gather food on their own. The temple is famous for its natural springs, from which water collects in tanks (kunds). Bathing in the waters of Galtaji is considered fortunate, especially on Makar Sankranti, and many visit every year. The Best Way to Explore Jaipur! - One of the main reason I wanted to go to Jaipur was to check out the craftsmanship. I was eager to checkout the jewelers and block printing shops. I am so glad that my hotel concierge connected me with Asif of Jaipur Day Tours. It was like having a friend in the city who knows all the best spots. Plus his joyful demeanor and smart driving made the ride a fun adventure in and of itself. The block printing shop where he took us was not even on my radar, so I'm sure I wouldn't have found it on my own. Not only did we get to see them printing the fabric by hand, but the shop owner came out and explained the whole process to us. Plus their in-house tailor was able to make custom clothing with their gorgeous block printed fabrics. I ordered some dresses and blouses that they made right away and delivered to our hotel the very next day. The dress in the photo is one of the pieces that I had made! I love it! It's exactly what I was wanting, pockets and all! Something else to note: In all the other cities that we went to India, we didn't hire a driver. For example in Mumbai and Jodhpur, we just researched where we want to go on our own and we got around with Uber or by foot. But the places we went in Jaipur were not walkable and we tried to Uber to dinner the first night we got arrived and the service kept dropping. So based on our experience in Jaipur, it was a much better option to hire Asif for the whole day. Asif was super flexible and customized the tour based on what it was that we wanted to do, and he introduced us to places we wouldn't have found on our own. I will definitely recommend Jaipur Day Tours to all my friends. Thank you, Asif!

Amazing tour with Rahul! - We were so happy and lucky to have met Rahul on our first booked tour. He is an exceptional guide with so much knowledge of the history of Jaipur and India. A bonus for us was his excellent English. I wanted to change up the tour location a little bit and he very kindly was able to accommodate our wants and needs, as well as recommend some must see places. After the first incredible day we decided to take advantage of his expertise and book him for several more days. I am so happy to have met Rahul, and feel like I made a friend in India. We will definitely stay in touch. 😊
