Highlights
  • Mount Fuji - Embark on a day trip from Tokyo to explore Mt. Fuji viewing spots and Hakone. This private charter tour includes an English-speaking guide who will show you beautiful places in an enjoyable manner. The trip is fully customizable, and we welcome your suggestions. Recommended itinerary for Mt. Fuji and Hakone includes: Lake Kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji 5th Station, Kachi Kachi Ropeway, Hakone Ropeway, Lake Ashi, and Owakudani, with hotel drop-off at 6:30 PM. For the Mt. Fuji area only, the suggested itinerary includes: Mt. Fuji 5th Station (weather permitting), Lake Kawaguchi, Kachi Kachi Ropeway, Kita Hongou Sengen Shrine, Oshino Hakkai, Oishi Park, and Arashiyama Sengen Shrine if time allows or based on customer preferences. Please note that you must choose one itinerary.
  • Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station - The final point on Mt. Fuji accessible by car. Please be aware of weather conditions. During the hiking season, access to the 5th Station is restricted, and a shuttle bus costing 2100Â¥ per person is required.
  • Lake Kawaguchi Ohashi Bridge - Lake Kawaguchi is one of the five lakes surrounding Mount Fuji in Japan. It’s a popular tourist spot known for its stunning views and outdoor activities. Would you like more information about its location, history, or available activities?
  • Oishi Park - Located on the north shore of Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park offers a superb view of the lake and Mt. Fuji simultaneously. Various flowers bloom along the lakeside promenade according to the season. On sunny days, many photographers capture the scenery of Mt. Fuji, the lake, and the flowers from early morning. The park features a large free parking lot and is a popular rest area for cyclists and motorcyclists.
The park’s charm lies in its seasonal flowers, the expansive lake scenery, and the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji. A leisurely stroll along the flower-lined promenade with a view of Mt. Fuji will bring a sense of calm. The 350-meter-long Flowers Road on the west side of Oishi Park showcases colorful flowers throughout the season. At the end of Flowers Road, Kochia (summer cypress) blooms from summer to autumn, making it a popular photo spot.
  • Arakurayama Sengen Park - Located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, Arakurayama Sengen Park is famous for the Chureito Pagoda, a five-storied pagoda overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji. The park is especially popular during cherry blossom season (usually mid-April) when over 600 cherry trees bloom, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the pagoda and Mount Fuji. Visitors must climb a steep staircase of 398 steps to reach the pagoda, but the view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan.
In addition to the pagoda, the park includes the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, part of a larger shrine complex dedicated to the worship of Mount Fuji. The park is a favorite spot for photographers due to its stunning views, particularly during cherry blossom season and autumn when the leaves change color.
  • Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai is a scenic attraction in Japan’s Fuji Five Lakes region, featuring eight clear ponds and traditional thatched-roof buildings. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks, stunning views of Mount Fuji, and a glimpse into traditional rural Japanese life. The ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, creating a serene and beautiful setting. A visit to Oshino Hakkai offers a tranquil nature escape in a culturally rich area.
  • Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine - Also known as the Fujiyoshida Sengen Shrine, the Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine is the main Sengen Shrine on the north side of Mt. Fuji in Japan. Established in CE 100, the shrine is dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the Shinto goddess of Mt. Fuji. The shrine has a long history and has played a significant role in the development of Shintoism in Japan.
  • Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba - Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba is a traditional Japanese village located on the western shores of Lake Saiko in Japan. If time permits during the 10-hour trip and you choose the Mt. Fuji surrounding area itinerary, a visit to this village can be included.

Zubi - The Best tour guide in history - Arrived on time at 8:00. Direct pickup from our hotel, extremely convenient. Tour is well planned out and our driver Zubi is friendly. Definitely book this private tour instead for a group buying individual tickets for a larger group tour. It's a personal and comfortable experience. He talked to us about living in japan, immigrantion, places to visit and gave us recommendations for Kyoto and Osaka. Fluent in English. Thank you, chieftain!

Amazing time at Mt. Fuji - The views were amazing. Our tour guide knew all the good spots and even took us a beautiful temple that huge and empty. Must simpler than taking the train. He did the best to make sure we were well accommodated. I definitely recommend this service. It better than a bus tour, no rush or worrying about others.

Great views of Mount Fuji - We had amazing views of Mount Fuji and our guide Mohammed took us to some great spots. It was very busy so it was good to have a guide help us navigate the crowds and traffic coming out of Tokyo. Comfy spacious vehicle. We could customise our trip but trusted Mohammed with our itinerary. Would recommend ZUMI to others.

Awesome sights of Mt Fuji - Our tour guide ZUBI was awesome! Great asset to your company! We were lucky it was a clear day and we got beautiful shots of Mt Fuji. Because it was a Sunday we were able to go sightseeing before it got really crowded. Very knowledgeable and helpful and took us to great spots. Like I said ZUBI was awesome, I would recommend a tour with him.

It was not the best experience - The weather was not good that day I wish they would have notified us, mt fuji was closed that was the the only reason we wanted to go. The drive was very quiet and didn’t talk or explain, unless we asked him sth. He was nice to go back again since they said they might open the fuji Which they did but the weather wasn’t good at all.

Disappointed Mt Fuji trip - Our guild, Muhammad, is friendly and very helpful. However, the trip was disappointing because of the rain and wind at the the fifth station at Mt Fuji. We couldn't see anything but fog and rain.

We paid for a driver, not a local tour - As nice as our guide Muhammad was, this was not a tour. This was simply having a driver for the day. Muhammad was very nice in providing us with some tips on where to go. However, he didn't speak much Japanese, and did not have much expertise in terms of the local culture.
