Highlights
  • Jeongbang Waterfall - Jeongbang Falls is the only waterfall in Asia that flows directly into the ocean. On the waterfall’s wall, there’s an inscription reading “Seobulgwacha,” which refers to Seobul passing by this location.
  • Cheonjiyeon Falls - At Cheonjiyeon Falls, white water cascades from the rock cliff, creating a thunderous sound. Its name means “sky connected with land.” The falls are 22 meters high and 12 meters wide, and the sight and sound of the water are magnificent.
  • Oedolgae - Oedolgae Rock, standing 20 meters tall, is the first thing you’ll notice among the rocks surrounding Namju’s Haegeumgang River and the Seogwipo Chilshipri Coast. About 2 km west of Seogwipo City, you’ll find Sammaebong Parasitic Volcano and Oedolgae Rock, which stands on a beautiful shore near the mountain. It was formed by a volcanic eruption that altered the island’s landscape around 150,000 years ago. Known as a sea stack, it is a strong rock sculpted by wave erosion. Pine trees are regenerating at the island’s peak.
  • Segowipo Maeil Olle Market - Maeil Olleh Market
  • Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff - These cliffs were formed when lava from Mount Hallasan erupted into the sea. The cliff resembles black columns of varying sizes and heights grouped together, reminiscent of charcoal. It’s amazing how they formed naturally. Taking a photo here requires patience due to the crowded platform.
  • Cheonjeyeon Falls - Cheonjeyeon Falls, known as “The Pond of God,” consists of three sections. A variety of plant life, including the rare ‘solimnan’ reeds, thrives around the falls. To the east, a cave releases cold water from its ceiling, creating the first waterfall. The water collects in a pool and then falls two more times, forming the second and third waterfalls before flowing into the sea.
  • PLAY KPOP - PLAY KPOP
  • Alive Museum - Alive Museum
  • Teddy Bear Museum Jeju - Teddy Bear Museum
  • Hallim Park - Hallim Park is a popular tourist spot in Jeju, hosting monthly flower-related events. A highlight in spring is the Hallim Park Tulip Festival, featuring various tulip species like Apeldoorn, Shirley, Kees Nelis, Barcelona, Pink Diamond, and more. You can also enjoy bibimbap decorated with colorful tulips.
  • O’sulloc Tea Museum - The Osulloc Tea Museum, located on Jeju Island, opened in 2001 as Korea’s first tea museum. In 2013, Osulloc Tea Stone was built next to the museum, offering visitors various tea experiences and cultural activities.
  • Sanbangsan Mountain - Sanbangsan, rising to 395 meters, is a typical dome-shaped, craterless volcano. Its name, Sanbang, comes from a natural stone cave in the middle of the mountain. Inside the cave, called Sanbanggulsa Temple, there is a Buddha statue. According to legend, water drops from the cave ceiling are the tears of love shed by the goddess who protects Sanbangsan’s stone walls.
  • Yongmeori Coast - Yongmeori Coast is a volcanic beach formed from ash emitted during violent explosions when hot magma met cold seawater. A narrow path leads to the beach, where you can also see a sandstone cliff. The name Yongmeori, meaning “dragon’s head,” comes from its resemblance to a dragon ready to dive into the sea. Entrance may be restricted during high tides or bad weather. If Yongmeori Coast is closed, Mt. Songaksan will be the alternative tour course.
  • Songaksan Mountain - If Yongmeori Coast is closed due to high tides or bad weather, Mt. Songaksan will be the alternative tour course.
  • The Ma Park - As the world’s first horse-themed park, Raon The Ma Park features a permanent horse-riding performance, “Empire of Thousand Years. Oh! Goguryeo Dynasty,” based on the life of Jumong, the founder of the Goguryeo Dynasty. The park also offers high-quality horse-riding facilities for all skill levels. Visitors can enjoy various horse-related activities.
  • Yakchunsa Temple - This is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Asia. You can enjoy stunning views by climbing to their garden and looking down at the beach.
  • 서커스월드 - Experience the spectacular Chinese-technique circus performance on Jeju Island! Since January 2004, this circus has become a must-visit attraction. It combines circus acts with Arirang, traditional Korean music. A popular segment is the adrenaline-pumping motorcycle show. The Jeju Circus World Performance Stage has won an award from the International Circus Festival and is even recognized in China for opening a new paradigm in performance culture with unforgettable memories and emotions.

Amazing Experience - We are so grateful to our driver for a lovely day! He made great suggestions about what to see and was very mindful of our time. We asked about where to eat lunch; he even helped us order and showed us how to navigate fish bones with chopsticks. He was very friendly and informative, exactly what we needed for our port day in Jeju.

Great Experience - Great experience. Mr. Donny Yoon was our driver. He was on time and very personable. He spoke exceptional English and also Chinese and Korean. We only wanted to spend our day at Hallium Park which was about 1/2 hour away. I would use Lucas again. The reservations and communication experience was simple and excellent.

South / west half day - The driver was Lucas (Mr Koh). He provided us with an excellent itinerary - had to be altered a little due to rain and covid closures. He speaks brilliant English, is on time and drives very safely. We learnt a lot about South Korea just chatting to him between stops. If you only have time for one Coast - the east is MUCH better. We did the east coast with the same driver the next day .

Seogwipo natural attractions - We visited attractions near Seogwipo city which is about an hour car journey from Jeju City.. Jeongbang Waterfall and the Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliffs could be done in 45 - 60mins, but at least 1.5hours are needed to really appreciate the three Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls. All were worth the visit.
