Highlights
  • Jeju Island - Seggi-al Beach:
On this beautiful beach, you’ll walk on the breakwater to the pretty small red lighthouses like Samdal and Yongpil. The fine white sand contrasting with the black lava rocks and layers of cobalt-colored seascape will make you realize that you are in Jeju! The unique topology of this beach makes a UNESCO trail, which you’ll also look into.
  • Jeju Island - The Forest of Secrets:
This is the place where Samdal helped couples by taking wedding snaps in the tall cypress forest. The mint color camping trailer between the trees will make a fancy snap. The well-managed private forest and green field will make you feel refreshed.
  • Jeju Island - Cheolli Restaurant:
The pork noodle soup restaurant scenes of “Extra Ordinary Attorney, Woo Youngwoo” were taken in this pretty yellow-colored restaurant. You can take the same seat as auttorney Woo enjoying traditional Jeju local dishes.
  • Jeju Island - Boromwat:
In k-dramas couples often propose in buckwheat fields when the white flowers are in full bloom so as Yongpil’s parents. Boromwat is a place where village residents grow buckwheats but also you can enjoy other different flowers when it’s not buckwheat season; spring and autumn. You may go for a walk through the white buckwheat flowers ruminating over the floral language “Lovers.”
  • Jeju Island - Ojo Port:
Ojo Port, located in a secluded and quiet Ojori Village, has a beautiful view of Seongsan Ilchulbong on the sea. The lucky convenience store & Samdalri bus stop set was here in the drama. This spot is already popular since it was also a filming location of “On the Way to the Airport.” You will walk to the port following the trail around, go for a light hike on Siksanbong Peak, and walk on a wooden bridge connected to Ojori Village, which will give you a feeling like walking on the sea and a chance to see migratory birds in the inland water area.
  • Jeju Island - Siheung-ri Village:
Did you know that “Welcome to Samdal-ri” wasn’t taken in actual Samdal-ri Village but in Siheung-ri Village? Jeju Olle Course no. 1 starts from this village. You will come closer to Jeju locals while walking through olles (=narrow paths connecting houses to the main road) finding Samdal & Yongpil’s homes. They’re private residences but Samdal’s home gate is open to you so that you can take a step in for a quiet & quick photo.
  • Jeju Island - Byeolbangjin Fortress:
Built in the 16th century with stones to protect against Japanese pirates in an oval shape, it has relatively well-preserved walls. Therefore, it is considered important data showing the construction methods and scale of fortresses in this area at the time. Let’s find the spot where Samdal and Yongpil kissed!
