Don't miss this tour! - This is a fantastic and enlightening tour for anyone yearning to understand this historical conflict. Abraham tours does a great job of giving participants of the tour viewpoints of both sides equally and fairly. While there is still so much to learn on this matter, this is a undeniably a great entry point into learning more about this challenging predicament. Don't miss it while you are in Israel!

Visit to the Tomb of the Patriarchs Hebron Israel. - Very happy to have been able to visit the tomb of the patriarchs in Hebron. the Eliyahu guide is very cordial and detailed explanations, allowing you to better understand the history of the Hebrew people. the visit to the “Palestine” side did not convince me. However, the welcome from this Palestinian family was very warm, even if we did not eat there, they offered us WATER, coffee and grapes. pleasant people. I still have one unanswered question. why ISMAEL the 1st born of Abraham does not appear on the Palestinian side of the tomb in the screen mosque. Because on the Israeli side we have Abraham Isaac and Jacob and their wives. to conclude a visit very rich in historical facts. THANKS

Most detailed perspective you'll get as a tourist - The guides did an excellent job exposing you to a variety of perspectives, including conversations with a Palestinian man who is being strong-armed into selling his property and with one of the leaders of the Hebron Jewish settlers. I don't think there is another tour like this which is why I'm giving it five stars, although there are a few things which could be improved. The tour of the Tomb of the Patriarchs was a bit too long from both the Palestinian and Israeli sides - seems more appropriate for a religious tour rather than a political one. Additionally, the Palestinian guide - Marwa - was too quiet and seemed to be going through the motions a bit. I think she's new though, so perhaps just needs to get into it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour - one of the most interesting experiences on my trip and I think an eye opening experience.

An excellent experience for those who wish to move beyond superficiality - A well thought out, well executed tour for those who wish to be left with more questions than answers: we spent the evening talking about so many features of it, agreeing that it was disconcerting, but in a way that seems respectful to a complex and fraught reality. Both of the guides were very good - I wish we had had more time with the Palestinian guide, but this is also a product of the political realities. Organisation of the timings was flawless; the choices of stops were well chosen, and the lunch with the family was lovely. Beware that you will be confronted with people with very entrenched views, ones that are difficult for many to reconcile - the Jewish settler with whom we met was... challenging. Summarily, an excellent experience for those who wish to move beyond superficial tourism

Educational tour with both sides represented - An incredibly educational and valuable crash course on West Bank and Hebron. I felt safe through this entire tour which is pretty impressive considering the location. The guides provide a very fair version of both sides of the conflict. This is the best tour I have taken in my life. You leave with a genuine understanding of how complicated the situation is and what it is like to live in Hebron both as a Jew and as a Muslim. I hope these tours continue. I went as a female solo traveler and felt safe with the group and guides fwiw. I really cannot say enough good things about the guides and the experience.

A truly eye opening experience - In 10 hours you have much better overview of the situation on both sides. First half of the day you spend with Palestinian guide, walking through H1/H2 parts of Hebron, then you have lunch with the Palestinian family during which you hear their story. In the afternoon Eli- Israeli guide takes over and you get to learn the other part of the story. Through out the trip you have a good feeling of what it is like to live in the most complicated city and you really appreciate the environment you are coming from. Eli makes the whole complicated story explained in an easier to understand words but you can still be confused. Highly recommend! We have done it with a teenagers and for them it was an eye opener.

Not perfect but a thoroughly informative tour - First off this tour is completely with seeing, despite its flaws. So I recommend it to you without hesitation. Having said this here are its flaws . 1. It runs a little long. We might have benefited from a little less content, especially the amount of time spent in the Cave of Machpela. Seeing it from both perspectives Was interesting but some way to abbreviate this experience would have helped the tour. The very daunting walk to see a view from Tzipporahs home was tiring and unnecessary. 2. I’m slightly disabled and I found the incessant climbing and terrain daunting. I had to skip a couple of things simply because I was too tired to continue. (I’m 74 years old) I was also very discouraged by the totally implacable positions taken by the representatives of both the Palestinians and the Jewish settlers. I asked both the same two questions and was disappointed with their answers. (1) have you ever met your counterpart from the other side (answer; no) and (2) it’s clear that the situation in Hebron and throughout Israel/Palestine is not tenable long term;what do you see as a future (answer on both sides; we need peace but only on OUR terms But this was a thoroughly educational day and the guide was excellent in presenting both points of view as objectively as he could. Take this tour.

Not balanced - guide dismissive - I have to agree with Diana H a bit further down. Though advertised as a "dual narrative" tour, it is that perhaps only in name. The first half of the day is with a Palestinian tour guide, the second half with the Israeli. Eli - the Israeli guide - is also in the car supposedly explaining the context on the drive over. In short - Eli spent the second half of the tour essentially discrediting everything Marwa, our wonderful Palestinian guide, had explained. He was condescending and dismissive, sometimes even smirking at comments other people on the tour mentioned she had said. He would mention crimes against settlers but gave absoloutely zero context - if we asked for details, he said we didn't have time. For example, we walked down a street that used to be a bustling shopping street with thriving Palestinian business but is now inaccessible to Palestinians AT ALL. The Israeli military shut it down. Eli's explanation was that there was too much violence - I was absoloutely stunned that our supposed guide would just state this as fact, with no context or explanation. No mention of Palestinian history, no mention of al-Nakba, no mention of the active violence of Palestinians that happens every single day. No mention of that fact that these settlements - and many towns across the land - are former homes of Palestinian families who were kicked out or built on flattened villages. If you actually want to learn about the settlements in Hebron/Al Khalil, I recommend Dena Takruri's documentary on YouTube. If you want to visit al Khalil, don't use this tour. Contact Marwa - the Palestinian guide - or other local companies. This tour is not 'balanced' or even halfway truthful at all. I'm stunned to know Eli also gives tours of the Gaza border and the history of 1948, I can't imagine the lies he spews there. My heart goes out to the Palestinian people, and especially those living in Al Khalil which is often referred to as the most occupied city in the West Bank. On a positive note, Marwa - our Palestinian guide - was wonderful. I was impressed in her ability to do this tour in her second language, and I can't imagine how emotionally draining it is for her to have to recount trauma again and again. The food we had at the Palestinian family's home was delicious, and I hold tight the souvenirs I bought from the women's co-op.
