  • Mount of Olives - On the way to Jerusalem you will learn about the history of Israel and the Hebrew people.

We stay all day in historic Jerusalem and will not visit any parts of the new city.

In Jerusalem we start with a breathtaking view on top of the Mount Of Olives and then continue by foot walking down the mountain to the olive gardens of Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony/Church of All Nations.

  • Garden of Gethsemane - The garden where, according to tradition, Jesus prayed, surrounded by very old olive trees
  • Old City of Jerusalem - We will walk through the 4 quarters , through the Shuq, the Arab market and visit the highlights like Western Wall, Temle Mount and Holy Sepulchre. We also have lunch in a restaurant overlooking all those places from their rooftop.
  • Dominus Flevit Church - Church on the Mount of Olives which we will walk down to getsemaneh.
  • Western Wall - The holiest place where Jews can pray. The supporting wall of the Temple complex, build by King Herod over 2000 years ago
  • Church of the Holy Sepulchre - We will visit the Chapels of the Crucifixion, Golgotha, the stone of Annointment and the Tomb of Jesus Christ. We will not enter the tomb, since this can cost hours of waiting. If visiting the Tomb is important to you, you can do see by going there earlier and wait in line and you will meet the guide later.
  • Golgotha - The place of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, now in the Holy Sepulcher Church in the Old City of Jerusalem
  • Christ’s Tomb - This is part of our visit in the Holy Sepulchre.
  • Temple Mount - The location of the two Jewish Temples, the head quarters of the European Christian Crusaders and now of the Al Aqsa Mosque and Golden Dome of The Rock Shrine.
  • Western Wall - The holiest place for Jews to pray. We will visit and go up to the wall.
  • Jewish Quarter - we walk through this quarter to the Western Wall
  • Christian Quarter - the quarter with the Arab bazar (souq), we will through it on our way to the Holy Sepulchre.
  • Muslim Quarter - We will walk through this quarter, the souq, from The Temple Mount towards the Holy Sepulchre.

Totally recommend - The tour was amazing. Our guide, Nadia, was wonderful. She kept everyone in the group engaged and did not lose steam. She answered all questions and answered difficult topics in an insightful and respectful manner. The pace was perfect and we stayed at each site for the just the right amount of time. The bus had good a/c. The lunch was basic but I enjoyed the freshly cooked falafel. If you’re thinking of doing a non-pilgrim tour in Jerusalem and prefer to be in a smaller group, book this tour.

Best Jerusalem boutique tour! - Best Jerusalem boutique tour! Gadi was the best tour guide anybody could have asked for! We visited all the places described in the tour and learned so much about Jerusalem history. Eyal, our driver was so cool and kind! He shared a cold bottle of beer at the end of the tour providing a moment to reflect of all the things we have learned.

Amazing Jerusalem tour! - Nadia was an amazing guide - personable and informative. She was very thorough both in the history of the region as well as the nuances of the cultures. She covered a lot in a relatively short time and kept on us a very good schedule for site seeing and breaks. Great tour!

Get amazed by Jerusalem - Planning a trip to Israel / Tel Aviv, a Jerusalem visit is a no-brainer. We heared from Amazin Jerusalem / Menno de Vries earlier and read about the good reviews. Although we'd rather would have liked the tour to be in Dutch, the guide Gadi hosted our tour in English and he did well. This man is a walking wikipedia in the best sense of the word. It is quite an understatement that the Israel/Palistinian situation is quite particular, but every type of information during the excursion was brought in perspective to history and nothing else. A big cheers to the driver who offered us a cool bottle of beer on the ride home, providing us with a moment of ease and reflection of all the things we have seen and heared.

Must do Jerusalem tour - This was a fabulous tour! We were picked up on time in Tel-Aviv and had a nice drive to Jerusalem. Frank gave us lots of information on the drive so it was very enjoyable. We arrived and started our tour. Again Frank was very good and giving lots of valuable information. All the sites are just incredible to see. We had a wonderful lunch at a rooftop restaurant and were advised what shops to avoid and which shops could be trusted (but we were not made to shop ever, we could leave lunch a little early and shop if wanted). We chose to stay in Jerusalem after the tour (you have the option of using it as a transfer or returning to Tel Aviv). Would definitely recommend this tour!!

Excellent one day trip to discover Jerusalem - Great one-day trip to Jerusalem. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Nadia was a great and fun guide. She provided historical background to all the sites that we visited but she managed to keep it to what is essential only without going into unnecessary details. We visited a lot for one day and it was a nice mix of historical facts and how different religions interpreted it over the years. The lunch was nice as well and we also had just enough time to buy some souvenirs. Everything was well organized and on time. I definitely recommend this trip to everyone who wants to discover Jerusalem. The size of the group (18 people) was also great to walk around without getting lost and having delays.
