An amazing experience! - Due to COVID we had been waiting 3 years to do this Safari and it didn't disappoint! Many thanks to Danielle, our guides and hosts who looked after us and ensured that we had an amazing experience. We had 2 safaris in the Pridelands conservancy and spent 2 full days in Kruger where we got incredibly close to the big 5 animals. We also had very rare and special encounters with wild dogs and cheetahs! Seeing wild dog pups and hyena cubs was like something from David Attenborough. We also did a 1 day tour of the Blyde River Canyon which showed us beautiful areas and taught us a lot about the local culture. African Rock Lodge where we stayed was extremely comfortable, with excellent food, staff and very friendly hosts. It also had lots of interesting wildlife wandering close by as it is inside the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. All in all, an unforgettable trip!

Safari Kruger Park - Sensational experience with Shinzelle Safaris! We enjoyed every minute in the park, seeing the Big Five! Everything was perfectly coordinated. We spent five days in the park, which was enough to see all the animals you could hope for if you're lucky. The attention and coordination with our ranger were flawless. Whenever we needed something, they went out of their way to assist us. An amazing week!

Awesome Kruger Safari! - Amazing trip on safari with Shinzelle! It’s a great company, super easy to work with. I booked my trip very late in the day but they managed to accommodate all of my wishes. Our guide, Nick, was awesome and gave us a great experience. We spent 5 days in the park and saw so many incredible animals (including all the big 5). Only miss was the cheetah but we will save them for next time! 4 days would also be a good amount of time for this trip but I wouldn’t recommend less than that. Highly recommend booking a safari in Kruger with Shinzelle.

Mind blowing Safaris with awesome driver/guide. - The most amazing holiday ever. Had the best driver/guide Derick on safari which meant we smashed the big 5 on first full day safari. Derick was very knowledgeable of KNP. Danielle was available anytime we needed and made everything run smoothly. Our LittlePilgrims Hotel was a great choice, lovely food and atmosphere.

Amazing tour!! - We are doing the 5day adventure and Kruger Park tour combo. Our transport from OR Tombo Intl was flawlessly organised as we made the 5hr journey from airport to hotel. Our room is beautiful at the windmill retreat and we went on our afternoon safari and full day safari with Tour Guide Juire. An incredibly experienced guide (23years) Juire said that within the park the animals are obviously wild and luck plays a great part in what you see on your tours. Despite this Juire's constant hard work and tracking as we drove around the park allowed him to led us to have so many incredible sightings!! Water buffalo, elephant, zebra, leopard tortoises, Leopard!! (only approx 900 in the park) lion, so many amazing birds and reptiles, monitor lizards, hippopotamus, crocodile, Eagles, zebra, vultures... The list is literally so ongoing not only for the big ones but the little ones as well as is the priceless memories. We would highly recommend taking this tour but remember that it is so much luck with what you see but a great guide and positive attitude to the experience as a whole not just seeing the animals will go a long way in you having the same incredible experience we did!! Thanks so much! Ask for Jurie!!

Amazing Guides - Went on safari during Christmas break and had an amazing time with the guides from Shinzelle (Juri, Jayden) who were extremely knowledgable about the animals and where to try and spot them. They didn't just drive around aimlessly in the hope of find something for us, but took time for us to also observe the animals and explain the behaviour. A lot of the guides in the park seem to look to them to direct them to where to find some animals. They are also both fun guys to spend time with. Would highly recommend Shinzelle Safaris. The day on the panoramic route was also great with our guide Mike, who once again explained in detail about what we had seen.

The 5 day safari & panoramic tour was the best way to start our trip to South Africa - Jayden was a great guide! Very friendly, fun to talk to. He answers any questions you have about the animals and is very knowledgeable. Seeing the gorgeous waterfalls and canyons and South Africa countryside was so gorgeous! And Safari was amazing! We got to see a leopard up close, elephants, zebra, giraffe, rhino, baboons, water buffalo, hippo, antelope, turtles, hyena, giant land snail, kudo, lions & cheetah (from a distance) is was so cool to see the animals in their natural habitat!! The room to stay in is very nice and great that they include breakfast and dinner. The Infiniti pool is very nice we used it when it was hot outside. Gorgeous view of the natural country from the pool. Very friendly service. Everyone was great and we saw some incredible things! Great experience! Thank you! Mary & Denver

Unforgettable Adventure in Kruger NP - Shinzelle offered my family an unforgettable adventure at a reasonable price. Prior to finding Shinzelle, I feared that a safari might not be affordable for our trip. The staff at Shinzelle and the Windmill Retreat were so hospitable and personable. From the moment I inquired about a potential trip, it felt like I was emailing with old friends. We enjoyed the small group size and our guide, Jay, truly made the safari drives an amazing experience for us. I highly enjoyed the relaxing drives that took us away from some of the more populated areas where guides were using radios and speeding around solely trying to check off the Big 5. I felt we got to see so much more by slowing down and experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells of the park. Jay was very knowledgeable and was great about positioning the safari vehicle for the best photo opportunities for everyone. We learned so much about Kruger NP and its inhabitants, and could have stayed for much longer. For me, seeing rhinos in the wild was the highlight, but every day was unique and exciting!

Disappointing - Disappointing and frustrating experience. The communication with Danielle during our tour was very poor, the itinerary was sent to me without the ending times, I wrote to her to consult and she never responded therefore we did not have the opportunity to organize something on our own to spend the afternoon since almost everyone On the days we were at 2:00 pm unoccupied in the Lodge, a place that was good, it had a pool but there was not much to do around, they do not recommend walking out and the availability of taxis was scarce. Therefore, we had to be at the lodge every day from 2:00 p.m. On the other hand, we were unlucky that the scenic route was foggy and we couldn't see anything except Blyde Canyon and Lisbon Falls, when we returned to the lodge again at 2:00 p.m. we tried to see if the lodge could get us a transportation to the mall or the stores to do something and it was not possible, when I wrote again complaining about the poor communication to Danielle, there she just answered me and there was nothing to do because they were going to close the stores, she was not aware that our The day of the tour had been a failure, it is clear that he is not in contact with the guide to know what his clients are up to. I understand that they cannot control the weather but what they can control is communication, see if they can offer you a plan B or something to do in compensation. The accommodation Lodge was good, the dinner service was very good, the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly, the only bad thing was that it was a bit isolated considering that we had to spend the entire afternoon there. As for the Safaris, another disappointment, every day we entered through the same door (Pabheni) and we always walked through the same area of the park, near Skukuza, the guide seemed to only drive, he was very distant and cold, I would even say that he was half bad tempered, when we arrived he told us that lunch was never included even though the itinerary did include it, I had to write to Danielle when they as a company should be aware of these details, once we asked to stop briefly To buy something to eat, the guide made us feel uncomfortable since he kept saying that we were late since he had come on the connecting transfer that they hire. We never went to the north of the park since we had 10 hours on the full day tour, where we walked for 4 days, there were few animals, we did not see any leopards, cheetahs or rhinos, lions only once. We noticed that the guide did not play hard so that we could see them, we spent hours without seeing anything during the tours in sectors that we had already explored the day before. As a comparison, we were on Safaris in Tanzania and the guide made an effort, communicating with others to find out where the animals were and we were able to see them. Something is wrong with this Safari as people at the campsite and on the return transfer commented that they had seen the Big 5 multiple times. In short, we feel that our money was poorly invested in this company. What I am grateful for is that Danielle was able to change the start day of the tour because we missed a flight because of the airline, but once we were on the tour she did not answer my questions and messages on time. Our bad experience was filled with excuses: "it is too hot for the animals", its raining the animals are hiding, we try but not today, sorry we didn't answer because we have a problem, sorry we were moving so that's because we didn't t send you the itinerary before, we can't control the weather….
