Cook it like a Korean - Cooking with Joy and Hope at Seoul cooking club is a must-have experience while visiting Seoul. The facility is brand new and exceptionally clean. It’s centrally located and easy to find. Joy is a great teacher with clear instructions and eagerness to share her passion for cooking. After making japchae, gimbap, bulgogi, various Joens, we got to enjoy our food and hang out with Joy and her assistant Hope! Thank you both for the wonderful experience.

So cooking club is worth a visit. Warning…come ready to eat a full meal! - Every place I travel I try to take a cooking class. The soul cooking club did not disappoint! The chef and assistant were lovely. The manager was there to greet us when we arrived. We created wonderful Korean cuisine, and had a surprise dessert waiting for us at the end. They let us take a cookbook and gave us a canvas bag to go. It was a real treat!

Fun class with great vegetarian options. - Three helpful chefs taught us some of my favourite Korean dishes. They supplied vegetarian alternatives for me. We made jeon, kimbap, bibimbap and bulgogie (with a meat substitute) everything was yummy. The atmosphere was nice and the pace of the class was good.

Fantastic Korean Cooking Class - We had a wonderful time learning how to make traditional Korean dishes with the Seoul Cooking Club! It is conveniently located in the city center and easy to get to by bus. The staff were friendly and joyful, with warm smiles the whole time. The staff prepared the necessary ingredients, and the instructors taught us how to put the dishes together - battering, pan-frying, stir-frying, and plating, with tips on cultural knowledge and cooking techniques. The instructors were very helpful and patient, guiding us through each step with clear instructions. It was a hands-on, fun experience. We got to cook an authentic Korean meal and enjoy it at the end, quality guaranteed. The class was lively and fun, with plenty of interaction, jokes, and friendly competitions. I had so much fun, and I am not a big photo person... I didn't even take my phone out the whole time. We really enjoyed the class and left with great memories, new knowledge and skills, content stomachs, and some packed food - we couldn't finish what we cooked. 😂 Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul!

The course is well organized, the chefs are superb, and all the dishes are delicious. I look forward to doing it again the next time friends visit Seoul.

Delicious food in a very cool and welcoming environment! Just book, you won't regret it! - We had a fantastic time in this cooking class! The chefs were super friendly and also very knowledgeable. We learned so much about Korean food and its connections to Korean society and history. The food itself was delicious, and the quantities were large. The class is in a lively central area, and it's so close to other sights. I highly recommend taking this class! I liked that all the ingredients were fresh and that it was a very hands-on experience. I got to meet some new people, too; it's the perfect activity if you are looking for a break from sightseeing but still want to soak up Korean culture and eat great food at the same time. The space is very cool, classy, and well-decorated; it really was a respite in a busy city. I'd highly recommend attending this class.

Cooking and Learning in Korea - I loved every part of this cooking class and opportunity to learn more about Korea's food culture. The location is perfect, very near to many popular sites and easy access to public transportation. The room is clean and clear and well-appointed. Bright and airy, with lots of windows and light. The cooking area has space for 12 or so people with all the supplies beautifully laid out. The dishes were delicious and easy to prepare (all prep work was done ahead of time). We made jeons (3), gimbap, bibimbap, and bulgolgi- all "mild" Korean flavors. The staff were very attentive and clear in instructions. I would definitely go again.
