Highlights
  • Dead Sea Region - Upon arrival, enter the resort (if selected) and enjoy free time to experience the waters and surroundings at your leisure. Utilize the provided towels and unwind on the mineral beaches. Soak up the sun and scenery, apply mud for a rejuvenating natural spa, and take a ‘swim’ in the waters. Don’t forget to strike the iconic pose of lying back and floating while reading a newspaper or book!
Take the opportunity to relax, as there are few places better for it than the lowest point on Earth: the Dead Sea. Known as one of the world’s true natural wonders, this remarkable body of water is fed by several rivers that flow into its land-locked shores. The waters have no outlet, so they evaporate, leaving behind a high concentration of natural salt that gives the Dead Sea its famous buoyancy.
Enter the Hotel (Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza) and enjoy free time to experience the waters and surroundings at your leisure.

  • Jerash Ruins - Jerash is an ancient Roman city and one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the Middle East. Located about 48 kilometers north of Amman, it can be reached by bus or taxi.
Founded in the 2nd century BC, the city thrived under Roman rule. It was a major hub of trade and commerce, and its well-preserved ruins include temples, theaters, baths, and colonnaded streets.
    Highlights of Jerash include:
The Arch of Hadrian: This triumphal arch was built to commemorate the visit of Roman emperor Hadrian in 129 AD.
The Temple of Artemis: Dedicated to the Greek goddess Artemis, this temple is one of the largest and best-preserved Roman temples in the Middle East.
The South Theater: Built in the 2nd century AD, this theater could seat up to 5,000 people and is still used for concerts and performances today.

  • Ajlun Castle (Qala’at ar-Rabad) - Ajlun Castle, also known as Qala’at ar-Rabad, is a 12th-century Muslim fortress situated atop Mount ‘Auf in northwestern Jordan. Its strategic position overlooking the Jordan Valley and trade routes made it a vital military stronghold throughout history. Here’s what makes Ajlun Castle unique and worth visiting:
Built by Saladin in 1184, the castle features remarkable Islamic architecture with intricately carved stonework, imposing gateways, and towering walls. Explore the inner courtyards, chambers, and passageways, imagining the lives of soldiers and inhabitants from centuries ago.
Discover the castle’s ingenious defensive features, including the drawbridge, moat, and strategically placed towers. Learn how its water collection and storage system ensured survival during sieges.
Ajlun Castle witnessed historical events such as the Crusades and the Ayyubid-Mamluk power struggle. Visit the on-site museum to delve deeper into its fascinating past and archaeological discoveries.

Then you will begin the one-hour drive to the Dead Sea. Being the lowest point on earth and filled with a variety of minerals with medicinal properties the site has developed into a health spa-like hotspot. The mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen Cleopatra and Sheba both were said to have known the value of the site and used it.
