Highlights
  • Rainbow Bridge - You will passes under the bridge. Rainbow Bridge is one of the largest bridges in Tokyo, connecting Shibaura and Odaiba. The height between the bridge and the sea level is approximately 50m. Diving under such a large bridge is a spectacular experience.
  • Tokyo Tower - You will pass a place that can be seen from above the sea. Tokyo Tower was the largest television tower in Japan from 1958 to 2011. Nowadays, it is a landmark of Tokyo, and at night it is glitteringly lit up, adding an accent to the night view. From the sea, you can only see the whole thing from certain angles. Please look carefully.
  • Kachidoki Bridge - You will passes under the bridge.
What makes Kachidoki Bridge unique is that it is one of the few bascule bridges in Japan.
In the past, there were many large ships that plied the Sumida River, making three jumps a day.
It still retains its original architectural beauty and is a historical heritage of Japan.
You can observe Kachidoki Bridge up close from a boat.
  • Tsukiji - You will pass a place that can be seen from above the sea. Tsukiji was once Japan’s largest central market.
However, due to the aging of the building, its wholesale functions have now been moved to the Toyosu New Market. However, Tsukiji’s outer market still exists and has become a lively tourist destination. It is possible to eat traditional dishes.
  • Eitai Bridge - You will pass a place that can be seen from above the sea. Eitai Bridge was built in 1926. In 1897, iron was used for the first time in Japan for a road bridge, but because it had a wooden floor, it was destroyed by fire during the Great Kanto Earthquake, and it took on its current form as an earthquake reconstruction bridge.
The blue illumination is very beautiful at night, and the contrast with Tokyo Sky Tree is great.
  • Toyosu Market - You will pass a place that can be seen from above the sea. It is now the core of the central wholesale market, replacing Tsukiji.
The new building also has an original shape, and you can definitely see the whole picture from the sea.
  • Daiba - you will passes through Odaiba Seaside Park.
Daiba'' is aplace’’ where a cannon is placed. At the end of the Edo period, the Tokugawa shogunate, which began to feel threatened by the invasion of foreign ships after the arrival of Perry, built a battery known as Daiba to protect Edo.
Currently, it is home to the landmark Fuji Television building, many commercial facilities, and hotels, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tokyo.
Only authorized vessels may enter Odaiba Seaside Park. Please enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Odaiba.

Relaxing evening and beautiful views - This was a really great way to spend an evening in Tokyo and see the city’s spectacular nightscape. From the water, you really do get a fairly glamorous and impressive view of the city’s size. Plus, the whole experience was very relaxing and it was fun to see various landmarks. As someone who kind of dislikes observation towers, but still wanted to appreciate Tokyo’s expanse of lights, this boat trip was a perfect compromise. Plus, it was super relaxing and the experience had zero hassle. Crew was very helpful and would often approach to provide neat information or point out areas/sights. Drinks are available on board for purchase. They play jazz over the speakers for the trip’s duration, which generally adds to the relaxing nature of the whole thing. The boat consists of two decks, with the top deck being open air and really nice. Theres limited seating up there though, so keep that in mind. If I was mobility impaired and stuck on the bottom, enclosed deck for the trip, I probably would not have enjoyed the cruise much.

Thank you for a great time - Everything about this trip was amazing. The staff were just wonderful. The boat is beautifully - we kept looking around at other boats and saying "we got the better one". The bay is stunning. I am going to post just one photo because they dinply don't do it justice - you need to see it for yourself. We went in the summar and would strongly recommend this - Bcause in the ship was so cool. There was always so much you could do, although just relaxing on the top deck as the Sun went down is a definite highlight. Night time cruise is the perfect amount of time, in my opinion. It was also great to have a guided of Tokyo's streets in English.

Highlight of our Tokyo trip - This cruise was the highlight of our stay! We booked the sunset cruise which left around 7pm. We didn’t book the dinner one so we were able to get out on deck for the whole 90 minutes and enjoy the Tokyo skyline from dusk to dark. It was just an absolute treat. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They told us about various buildings and other buildings of interest (like the rainbow crossing). They told us history facts, heights of bridges and towers however we never felt they were crowding us and they stepped back to let us enjoy the calmness of the cruise. We were lucky that there was a 20 minute firework display on the night we booked which made it all the more special especially as it was my son’s 16th birthday! Would definitely recommend this and will be doing so as my friend is coming to Tokyo in 2 weeks. Thanks captain and crew for a fabulous evening.
