Additional Information
Specially designed for guests coming on cruise ships! We meet at the downtown cruise ship dock. Enjoy the 30 minute narrated tour, past downtown Juneau out to the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area. Explore the visitor center, trails and photo opportunities for 2 hours. Then your guide will be ready to take you back to the downtown dock area with great ideas for the rest of your visit to Juneau.
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- This is a 3 hour tour. Ride out and back on with the same guide on the same trolley.

Meeting location is the Mount Roberts Tramway. Our representatives will be wearing bright blue hats and holding signs that say "Juneau Tours and Whale Watch."

Mendenhall Glacier Shuttle - It was pouring rain but the shuttles still ran and we still hiked to Nugget Falls. Shuttles came every 20 minutes as promised.

Easy travel - Drivers were great. Pointed out several bald eagles on the way. Shuttles run every 20 minutes so return to town was also easy.

Memories of a lifetime - Just a beautiful experience. The Falls and Glacier are beautiful and worth the hike. Pretty easy hike and bus drivers were very helpful.

Very convenient - Loved the convenience of arriving and departure at our choosing. Driver's were knowledgeable about the history of the area and humorous as well. Glacier was beautiful and so glad we went.

The shuttle bus was... - The shuttle bus was efficiently run with friendly drivers and cost much less than the cruise ship's bus. The park is beautiful with lovely, easy-to-hike trails and fabulous views of the Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls.

GOOD TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM MENDENHALL GLACIER - Good solid transportation to and from Mendenhall Glacier.
No frills...but great and knowledgeable drivers...provided more info along the way than I was expecting.
Only thing is to communicate with them prior to your arrival...since their schedule apparently changes depending on the day, month, and how many ships are in port.
We got there in mid Sept...which is about a month before the end of the season.
Overall a great value and worked perfectly for our needs.

Alternative to cruise excursion for transportation to and from Mendenhall Glacier - The bus was somewhat easy to find, a short walk from the cruise. Had to wait a bit before a bus arrived, about 20 minutes. Driver on the way there was friendly and informative.
Not much to say, efficient transportation to the glacier and back.
