Meteora Magic - If you are looking for a half day fully immersive tour of the Meteora, this is for you. Christina, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. We were picked up at our hotel on time and then on to one of several amazing photo stops. We visited 3 of the several monasteries and unless you have a particular interest in this field, that is enough. The views from all are incredible and really what we came for. Our memories are captured in the numerous photos, many of which Christina took, from several well planned vantages. Great service by Christine and our driver Nikolas. Its a jammed packed 3-4 hours and well worth the ticket price.

Great trip - Beautiful afternoon excursion with enough time to visit the 3 monasteries and take photos. Great perspectives. We were already met at the train station. The guide and driver spoke very good English. Both were very friendly and helpful.

Fun and Informative Tour - We did this tour as a day trip from Athens and were met at the train station by Nikos (our driver) and Christina (our guide). They were both very fun and did a great job of giving us as much time to look around and take pictures as possible without cutting it too close for our return train. Christina was engaging and fun to listen to and she was very informative. Both Christina and Nikos were enthusiastic and made sure we came home with some fun photos. We really enjoyed our tour and would recommend it to anyone.

Majestic Meteora. Don’t miss this experience - The tour was fantastic. Only a small group of 8. Mr Nikos( our driver) and Virtue ( our guide) were friendly, informative and passionate about Meteora. The took us to the monasteries with great timing managing to be ahead of big tour groups thus avoiding big queues. A small group is the way to do a tour if you can manage it.

Dreamlike Excursion - Our trip to the Meteora monasteries was an absolute dream! Our very nice tour guide Areti took us to the monasteries (some we could also visit from the inside) and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history. She also answered all our questions extremely kindly and competenty. Areti took us to numerous photo stops that we would never have found on our own. We were absolutely thrilled with our excursion, as well as with our wonderful tour guide, who introduced us to her homeland with a lot of charisma and enthusiasm. We definitely recommend this tour!!!

It's not worth it from Athens. - It's beautiful but NOT worth it. More than 4 hours there and the same back. You have to go by bus from Athens since there is no train service. They stop you to eat in half an hour, it's a crappy roadside bar When you arrive after eating the place is BEAUTIFUL, but very small. At the first stop you have already seen it. Then they make many stops so you can see the same thing from other points. The almost 9 hours of transportation are not worth it. They don't return you to Athens at 11:00 p.m., without dinner, unless you buy snacks at the stop on the way in another crappy bar.
