Kalametiya is a biodiverse coastal wetland located on the scenic southeastern coastline of Sri Lanka, in the Hambantota district. Together with Rekawa and Ussangoda, it constitutes the ‘Ruk’ area, a stunning coastal strip dotted with multiple bays, lagoons, rocky formations, and sandy shorelines, extending roughly from Tangalle to Hambantota.
