Kibale Forest National Park - After breakfast, head to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing and assignment to a chimp group for tracking.
For chimpanzee tracking, you’ll need to rise early to meet the chimps as they wake from their nests and begin their morning foraging. Follow them throughout the day for an immersive experience.
This 3-day chimpanzee trekking tour offers encounters with chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, bush babies, grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys, and around 138 bird species, including the black bee-eater and crowned eagle.
After lunch at your lodge, visit Bigodi Swamp, a community-owned area offering excellent views of birds, primates like monkeys and baboons, and other wildlife such as warthogs.
