DAY 1: ENTEBBE – KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Relaxed morning and later transfer to Entebbe International Airport for scheduled flight to Kidepo Valley National Park. The flight takes approximately two and half-hours to Kidepo. You are picked from the airstrip and dropped to Apoka lodge, check in, relax and have lunch. After lunch, take an evening game drive through Kidepo Valley National park.

DAY 2: KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Early morning breakfast, we set off for a 2-3 hours morning game drive to Kidepo Valley National Park in search for lions, cheetahs and leopards. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, Enjoy mid-morning at the open swimming pool with sighting of wildlife from the lodge. The lodge offers nice viewing platform for wildlife and often at night you will hear the lions roar and the hyena cries. We relax at Apoka Lodge, lunch and we arrange for an evening fully parked Game drive.

DAY 3: KIDEPO VALLEY PARK – CULTURAL VISIT
Kidepo is wildlife bonaza you can either conduct morning nature walk accompanied by ranger escort or another game drive. In the afternoon visit the nearby Karamojong village. The Karamojongs are cousins to the Masai in Kenya and they were mostly nomadic pastoralists however they have been recently introduced to farming, learn more about their culture and enjoy in their cultural dance.

DAY 4: FLIGHT TO ENTEBBE AND DEPARTURE
Morning Game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. You will be transferred to the Airstrip to proceed to Entebbe. Our driver to transfer you to Papyrus Guesthouse for an overnight.

Kidepo Valley may be the sole remaining national park throughout the entire continent where you can enjoy solitude. This park is abounding with wildlife and likely mirrors how safaris in Kenya looked 35 years ago, before the onset of heavy tourism! In fact, it’s rare that you will run into more than a few different cars during any specific game drive day.
The stunning savanna landscapes, with the mountains soaring in the background, are reminiscent of being on both the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. From your accommodation, there’s a high likelihood of receiving nighttime visits from creatures such as lions, zebras, and jackals.
