- Uganda Equator - This is the most recognized landmark on the map of Uganda.\n\nIts the major latitude that divides the world into two equal hemispheres,\n\nNorthern and Southern hemispheres.\n\nWe shall carry out an experiment to distinguish Northern and Southern hemisphere, the place is surrounded by beautiful craft markets where you can buy souvenirs, and a walk for 15 minutes around town and after we shall drive back to Kampala which will almost take the same time , So the whole trip go and flow takes an approximate of 4 to 5 hrs and we use a private car.

Driving from Kampala to Equator is very rewarding as you get to see the nature but also a great smell from rural areas and agricultural sites.
Having been outside of Kampala
You also get good deals from craft markets around the area.
We take a nature walk for one hour
And we get to see different crops grown as well domestic animals ,
And get to learn the way how people live in villages!

Best Equator tour - We very much enjoyed the tour to equator! the most interesting part was carrying out an experiment to distinguish northern and Southern Hemisphere! we did walk around the village and this was great !

A great tour - A great tour of the equator from Uganda. Refreshment stops along the way. Knowledgeable guide. Interesting demonstrations of north v south.

Uganda on short notice - We conducted a short notice trip to Kampala, without pre booking. Steven was handed to us by friends. He was able to provide nice views to his country, by organicing 3 nice day trips.
Steven is really frindly, good informed and really accountable.
He has the right skill to show you the nice side of Uganda.
We will come back, visiting other areas with him.

Recommended! - Definitely recommend this tour it's a must to know the city as you will visit places that you would not normally go into by yourself :)

Great experience, recommended! - I did this tour on 220829, a very nice experience! It is a kind of surreal sensation to be at the exact equatorial line. Take one step to cross between the southern and northern hemisphere. Apparently you weight 3% less while standing on the equatorial line. Did the vortex experiment and its almost you cant believe how exact the border is. And on the line.. No vortex! And Nassars guys are so nice and friendly. Great lunch! And lots of interesting shopping avalible.

Nice one day outing - It was a real value for money your and very interesting to visit a place of this nature. Steve was a most pleasant guide and safe transporter. It would have been nice if the aircon was working. But glad that I could negotiate transport all the way back to my accommodation with him.
