- Kandy - Your tour will start at 4:30 pm from your hotel within the city of Kandy, or from the Kandy City Center. Your guide will pick you up and drive you to the artists’ home. The actual meet and greet with the artists will start at 5:00 pm and go on for approximately a couple of hours.
You will be meeting Rahju and his daughter, two of the island’s most distinguished artists. Once you get there you will be introduced to the artists and will be able to have an informational talk with them on subject ranging from art to philosophy. They will also talk about their artistic styles.
Rahju will then show you his private collection of paintings, that you will have the opportunity to purchase if you wish. However, there will be no pressure for you to make any purchases.
The evening will finish off with a round of tea and snacks, possibly accompanied by soulful Indian music played by the host, Raju. You can relax and enjoy your evening with good company and conversation.
At approximately 7:00 pm, with the end of the meet and greet, your vehicle will drop you off back at your starting point completing your tour.
