It’s about 5 kilometers west of Kandy, in Sri Lanka’s Central Province, at 460 meters above sea level. Peradeniya’s majestic Avenue of Royal Palms is Sri Lanka’s largest garden, covering 147 acres (60 hectares) and requiring plenty of time to stroll.
