• Kandy - Your tour begins at 0730 hrs when your chauffeur picks you up from your hotel in Kandy. If you can’t have breakfast at the hotel, make sure to bring a packed meal. Around 0800 hrs, your chauffeur will take you to either the Kandy or Peradeniya railway station, which is nearby.

Your train departs between 0830 – 0845 hrs. Your guide will help you board the train for a scenic journey through Sri Lanka’s stunning highland countryside. Enjoy the lush green tea plantations, charming villages with misty mountain backdrops, and the magical landscapes of Hill Country. Marvel at the towering mountains, dense forests, and magnificent waterfalls passing by your window.

• Nuwara Eliya - You will arrive at Nanuoya at 1215 hrs, where your guide will meet you. After a brief stretch, your guide will drive you to Nuwara Eliya. Relish the exciting half-hour drive up the winding road. Stroll through streets lined with charming cottages, quaint villas, and beautiful mansions. Around 1330 hrs, you will have lunch at a place of your choice.

• Gregory Lake - After lunch, your guide will show you the key sights, depending on time constraints. You will visit Lake Gregory.

• Post Office Nuwara Eliya - You will also visit the historic old post office, where you can send a postcard home or buy some as souvenirs.

• Seetha Eliya - The Sita Amman Temple, dedicated to Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, is revered by Hindus and is the only temple of its kind in the world. Located five kilometers from Nuwara Eliya on the road to Kandy, it is believed to be the place where King Ravana held Sita captive.

• Ella - You will return to your hotel, completing your excursion by 1730 hrs.
