- Tirta Gangga - Tirta Gangga literally means the water from Ganga (Ganges), which is highly revered among Balinese Hindus.
It covers a large area with a rich historical legacy. Built by the late King Karangasem in 1946, it miraculously survived one of the largest eruptions of Mt. Agung in 1963.
The lush green compound features a maze of ponds with various significances and beauty, as well as water fountains adorned with statues of deities. You can also feed vibrantly colorful KOI fish, take pictures, and if time permits, splash into a refreshing swimming pool that circulates natural spring water.
- Jalan Kanto Lampo Waterfall - Another truly Insta-worthy experience. Kanto Lampo Waterfall was a hidden gem until 2010, and now it’s one of the popular destinations in the Ubud area. A natural series of four cascading waterfalls, the Lampo Waterfall is a tropical oasis surrounded by lush rainforest flora and fauna on its mountainsides.
It is also one of the holy sites for locals for the purpose of healing, receiving blessings, or simply connecting with divine nature.
