It was a great trip. - It was a great trip to experience not only the amazing scenery, but also the interaction with animals and Tibetan people, and the culture! I highly recommend it to everyone! There was a Guide and a porter, and all I had to carry was a small backpack. Both were friendly and enjoyed trekking with peace of mind. Also, the internet was only available in some lodges, but there were no problems. I was too ill to climb the mountain, so I will share my reflections on this trip. ・Eat well even if you don't have an appetite Buy local medicines for altitude sickness ・Eat plenty of sugar Enjoy these things with care! Have a wonderful trekking!

Fantastic company, making you at ease from start to finish, incredible leadership, staff, one of the best experiences - Our trek was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had, this would not have been possible without Tej’s planning, Thal being an exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable guide and Ram our porter being happy, helpful and kind the entire trip. We felt in safe hands throughout each portion of the trip, to planning, trekking, where we stayed, what we ate etc. Tej coming to meet us prior to the trek filled us with the upmost confidence of the company and overall plan and route. He was knowledgable, patient with our questions and an extremely easy guy to talk to and set us at ease. Thal was intuitive, helpful, motivating, skilled, calming and generally just a great knowledgeable person to be around. We had a great time with him during trekking as well as in the evenings in the tea houses. He was constantly looking out for us, helping my partner down a steep mountain when he was struggling to find his footing, keeping us motivated to carry on by being immensely encouraging and overall keeping us safe with everything from trekking to the food and water we had. Ram our Porter was unbelievably happy the whole trip! We felt incredibly uncomfortable asking someone to carry our bag up a mountain, but Ram always made us feel comfortable and as though it wasn’t too much to ask. We are incredibly thankful to Ram as we wouldn’t have been able to carry our bag up and enjoy the trek and Ram seemed to do this effortlessly. He made sure as soon as we got to a tea house we had a hot drink before himself, he walked down the mountain slowly to make sure we could match his pace and he was an amazing person to spend the evenings with in the tea house. Ram is going to be an absolutely incredible guide one day. There is not a thing I would change about this experience or the staff involved, it was incredible from start to finish and I would recommend this company to anyone considering a trek in Nepal, they take care of you from start to finish. Thankyou Tej, Thal and Ram!!!

Well done! Responsive, smooth logistics. Highly recommended for a fun and fuss free trek in Nepal. - We booked a trek to Langtang valley with Nepal Alternative treks. From the onset, Tej was very informative and responsive offering information via email and whatsapp about how the trek would be like and the cost involved in for the different options. He also send information about the packing lists and allayed our concerns about the altitude. The logistics for the trip was flawless, we were picked up at the airport and shuttled to the destinations as planned. Tej and his team also took care to get us bus tickets to the start point of the track even though it was Dashian festival and a lot of things were closed. The trek itself was astoundingly beautiful and we got a chance to observe a way of life so different from our own. Our guide- Dhan and porter- Connor were so sincere, helpful and informative. Dhan spoke English and was able to tell us alot about the historical, geographical and cultural significance of the places we visited. Connor and Dhan were also very perceptive and intuitive, setting a place that both my spouse and I could manage. Dhan also offered to carry my spouse’s bag when she struggled with altitude. All in all, we really enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend Nepal alternative Treks for your next trek in Nepal. Thank you Tej and team!

Did 2 nice treks with this organization - We walked the Langtang Valley Trek (private). If you want to walk a lot, guide Nauser is definitely recommended. Thanks to his experience and flexibility, we were able to shorten the tour by one day after the 1st day. That meant we had to walk quite a few days, but that was no problem. Porter Ram can also easily handle the pace and distance. Both gentlemen make the trek enjoyable in terms of chatting, but also understand when you need to be just the two of you. We previously walked the 10-day Annapurna Basecamp Trek. For a nice female guide, Ritika is great. Porter Ramesh is cheerful and can take good pictures :) During the trek we discovered that we walk a lot faster than average. That is why we asked for the Langtang Valley Trek if we could get a guide who could meet this requirement. That certainly worked with Nauser (and Ram). Communication with Tej was very pleasant. He responds quickly to email and WhatsApp. The only tip we have is that the itinerary states what is included, but you sometimes have to find this out yourself (e.g. the sleeping bag and the guide does not seem to have water purification tablets even though it does say so). But overall we are very satisfied and if we go back to Nepal we will definitely consider booking here again.

Amazing journey! - Immaculately planned by my friend with Tej, customised to our capabilities and likings. Guide Laxman is knowledgeable about the treks, caring and considerate. We couldn’t have made it to the top of Tserko Ri without him. Shout out to our porter, Ram, too!
