Great trip visiting Nagarkot and Bhaktapur - Lovely day visiting Nagarkot viewing point and Bhaktapur. Our guide, Subass (apologies if wrong spelling!) was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. He was keen for us to have a good experience, allowing us plenty of free time to wander and take photos, and encouraging us to ask questions about anything along the way. As we visited in rainy season we knew we may not get clear views from Nagarkot. However, we were lucky in that the weather remained dry and there were occasional glimpses through the clouds of the view across to the Himalayas etc. at one point we had a lovely clear view of a valley below as the clouds parted. It was like being up in heaven! We had good views on the other side across Kathmandu Valley. Worth seeing. It was lovely to get out of the city, inhale clean air, see various plants and animals and pass through the small villages. Bhaktapur was gorgeous. Again, Subass explained everything to us and allowed us time to explore. Well worth visiting this beautiful ancient city. Special mention must go to the driver - very impressed with his abilities! All in all a great day.

Very informative and flexible itinerary - We had a wonderful trip. We got tired part of the way through, and our guide was kind enough to adjust the trip. Our guide was very knowledgable and provided lots of little bits of information as well as politics, medicinal plants, the impact of the earthquake and more. Thank you, Shankur!!!

Perfect tour for a short stay - This tour is perfect for a short stay in Kathmandu! We only had a few days in the city and were very glad to find this tour which covers the highlights. The itinerary includes a trip to a viewpoint overlooking the Himalayas as well as significant time in Bhatapur. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history and architecture of the square.

A Beautiful City of History and beauty. - This beautiful UNESCO city is worth the day's visit from Kathmandu. The people of this region have taken great pride in the rebuilding of this site since the 2015 earthquake. Rebuilding has been swift and with great attention to detail. There is wonder and enjoyment in every building. A couple buildings are off limits unless you are a Hindu worshipper but 95% of the UNESCO site is open to view and explore. It is not uncommon to see school groups getting a history lesson of the site and the palace. Unfortunately a little too many vendors and coffee shops have sprung up inside the UNESCO city, but that is to be expected in a tourist attraction. Overall, you can still find the hidden vendor who will bargain with you. The Yak wool and Pashmina scarves are a wonderful price and most unusual in their beauty. There are many buildings to see and a good brochure for a personal walking tour of the area. There is an entrance fee for locals and a higher fee (about $15USD) for foreigners.

Location was also great! the day was not great (weather wise) but the guide kept me informed all the time and despite not being able to see the Hymalaya range (to be expecte in May), it was a very pleasant ride.

Great cultural experience - My guide, Subash made the day a great one. Bhaktapur is really worth the trip and he helped me, not only understand the city but the Nepalese culture as well. He is very knowledgeble (especially when it comes to religion, something I was very interested in) and his English is excellent. The day was not clear so it was pretty obvious we would not be able to see the mountain range from Nagarkot but Subash made several phone calls and constantly kept me update about the weather situation. Nagarkot offers good views but it is nothing too extraordinary. It was still a good ride and a good chance to see a bit around Katmandu. Over all, I was very happy

Beautiful Bhakapur - We went on a half day trip to Bhaktapur and Nagarkot. Bhaktapur was beautiful and interesting....lots of temples and museums and interesting alleys. Not too many tourists, which was nice. The temples were breathtaking, and the art and artisan shops had a great variety of wares....textiles, carvings, knives, paintings, pottery. Our guide, Pradeep, was knowledgeable and kept the tour to a good pace. He was great. Nagarkot was a pretty drive up the hills, but the view was non-existent, as forest fires had created a great deal of haze when we were there. On a clear day would have been amazing, we're told.

Interesting sights with a knowledgeable guide, comfortable vehicle & good driver. - Our guide, Pradeep, was very knowledgeable & engaging. The vehicle was comfortable & Robbie a good driver. We saw many temples, palaces etc & learned much about their history. We then drove to Lower & Upper Nagarkot viewing sights but unfortunately, the sky was very hazy so no views of the Himalayas only the valley hills.

Overall this tour was good. - I did this tour after my discharged from the hospital because of an impending DVT. I was picked up at the hotel at 4am by my tour guide Mukesh and driver Ravi. We headed to Nagarkot. The road sa bumpy, winding and foggy. The weather was foggy . The tower spot should be beautified with landscapes, flowers , pubic toilet etc.
