Additional Information

The Everest Base Camp Trek lets you explore high-elevation sites visited by just a select group from the global population. Journey along the path taken by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, trekking along the majestic Himalayan ranges which include the world’s tallest peak, Mount Everest (8,848 m). Bask in the enormity of these giants and feel awe-inspired. On your way savor the Sherpa hospitality and culture, immerse in Buddhist spiritualism (evident in the trails decorated with mani stones, chortens, and vibrant prayer flags) and the breathtaking mountain vista.

NOTE: The flights to and from Lukla in Kathmandu shifted routes to the Manthali Airport, Ramechhap district in 2019 & 2020, due to high air traffic in the prime trekking period (Mar, Apr, May, Oct, Nov). As of now, the flights operate directly between Kathmandu and Lukla. An additional cost might apply if airlines don’t provide shuttle services, or if you opt for a private vehicle instead of the shared airline-provided transport.

  • The price is for 1 person based on two people booking. It is also valid for a single person booking. However, if we don’t have an existing group for your chosen departure date or anyone to share the accommodation with you, a single surcharge of USD 250 is applicable which you need to pay upon your arrival in Nepal. At the time of booking, we will inform you if we have a group or not for your date. The single surcharge is also applicable if you don’t want to join any group and want a solo departure.
  • Domestic flight luggage allowance: 15 kg

Trip of a Lifetime - The most incredible trip I have ever undertaken. Every day was just breathtaking, in more ways than one! lol! This should be on everyone's 'Bucket List'. I put a lot of work in at the gym in preparation and I am glad I did. It is physically demanding, and you should make sure that you should fully prepare. I would highly recommend ACE the Himalaya, they were so professional, from time of booking to pre-trip briefing and then completion of the trip. We were so well looked after. Many thanks to our lead guide, Milan Adhikari, assistant guides, Hari and Santosh and porters, Ting Ting, Kumar, Krishna and Yam. Not forgetting all the office staff at Ace the Himalaya. Thank you to all of you for making this journey so amazing!

I’ll be returning! - Trek: Everest Base Camp Date: May 2024 Guide: Ramesh K My best friend and I completed the Everest Base Camp trek in May of 2024 with Ace the Himalaya and we don’t have enough good things to say about our trip! First, our guide Ramesh. He was extremely professional and was able to know what we needed before we even knew it ourselves. He carried my friend’s bag and provided encouragement when she acutely needed it. He was also able to joke and laugh to bring up our spirits. I was also impressed by his and another guide’s (Ram) quick action when a member of a different Ace the Himalaya group had severe altitude sickness. Second, the pace of the trek was excellent- no day felt like too much, no day felt like too little. And third, the trek itself! Truly, a pivotal moment in my life- it is so so beautiful and a huge accomplishment! My favourite part was Gorak Shep, the beauty of the Himalayas is so apparent and it truly feels like you’ve reached the top floor of the world (not the ceiling- that would be Everest summit)! Thanks Ram and Ace for such a great experience, we will be back for more trekking I’m sure!

Great time with Ace to EBC - I did the EBC Trek and it was an outstanding time! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My guide, Raj, and I crossed our fingers every chance we got and had an unbelievable view of Everest at Kala Patthar and time at base camp! With a positive attitude the whole time, Raj made the experience unforgettable and super fun, even when walking in the rain! Raj was super helpful before and even after the trek as well. The people at Ace the Himalaya are fantastic, and everyone I dealt with was not only knowledgeable, but very patient and excited. Thank you Sujan for setting up my trip so last minute. Thank you Raj for being the best guide and becoming a great friend! Our motto was fingers crossed and it worked the entire way. If you wanna trek to base camp, go with Ace and have Raj as your guide! Just don’t forget to bring a positive attitude and that no one can control the weather!

EBC June 2024 - Even though we came in the off season, we had great accomodation, food and were lucky with the views on certain days. I loved our team - Milan, Sauman, Jit and Mahesh. They were all very professional, kind and friendly. Everyone worked around the clock to ensure we were comfortable and safe - especially at altitude. Our only problem revolves around getting in and out of lukla due to weather conditions. Overall a great experience, truly once in a lifetime. I highly recommend this team!!!

EBC June Ace The Himalayas - We had a great experience with Ace. Events and weather can make the days stressful trying to get out of Kathmandu, but our guide, Milan, was always on top of it and had multiple plans. We ended up taking a helicopter into Surke and started the trek. Over the 11 days, our porters Mahesh and Jit were excellent and impressive carrying the gear. We also had an assistant guide, Sauman, who was always accommodating. The team was knowledgeable in trekking, medical, and the regional area, naming all the mountains and elevations. The entire experience was excellent. I would highly recommend Ace The Himalayas.

EBC experience!! - I Want to thank Access Nepal tours for all the support that they gave us to achieve the Everest Base Camp trekking successfully, let me tell you a little bit of what they did for us, we live in Mexico and the difference on the time is more than 12 hrs. Sadhana always answer us any question or doubt that we had related the trekking no matter the time and some time she answer us too late in Nepal she was always very kind and helpful, then when we arrive in Kathmandu she introduce us our guide Devman, now I can tell you that we were very lucky to have him as a guide, he is the most positive person that I ever know, during all the trek he always spread to us a very good attitude and that make us enjoy the trek even better, we were concern about the altitude sickness and the way that he manage the trek for us, help us to have no troubles with the altitude, and achieve the goal, also his knowledge and explanations were always very interesting. And least but not less our porter Netra, we are grateful to him for the help us to make our load light helping us to charge part of our lodges and also for teach us some words in nepali. We will be always very thankful with all the Access Nepal Tour team for show us a little bit of their beautiful country!! Thanks you for ever Your friend Soraida Form Mexico!!!!
