Most memorable EBC Trek with Happyland Treks - Chose to do this trek with Happyland trek, spoke to Bimal aka Happy Bimal and he gave every detail of the trek over the phone and sent us lodging options and pictures too to get an idea about what to expect. We had a lot of questions and Bimal was always available to answer them for us. We traveled as a couple and our welcome was in the most Nepali cultural way. For our trek, Bimal made sure we had every thing packed in our trek bags and had the first aid box ready, he also packed a lot of snacks for our trip to ensure we were well fed all the days. He introduced us to Pramish aka Promise, our guide for the trek who was highly experienced and knew every corner of the Everest region. Promise without a doubt is a very good and aware guide who took care of us throughout the trek. He took our health update every morning and made sure we were at all times in good condition. From trekking to hot water requirement (much needed) to snacks to food to lodge stay, he made sure we were enjoying the trek at all times. He introduced us to the Nepali culture and language and kept us engaged at all times so we did not feel the trek to be tiring. Whenever we fell sick, he just knew how to look after us and followed all protocols of the mountain. We successfully finished our trek to EBC and enjoyed view from Kala pattar with Happyland Trek and we would highly recommend them for any treks in Nepal. They provide a personal touch to the entire experience and are gem of a team.

Incredible experience with the BEST trekking team in Kathmandu! - If you’re looking to conquer Everest Base Camp, or sightsee around Kathmandu, then you have to do it with Happyland Treks. I was recommended Happyland through a friend and as soon as I got in touch with Biimal AKA Happy (the owner), the whole process went so smoothly. From start to finish, Happy had everything in-hand, he was extremely organised. He talked me through what the EBC trek entails, what to expect, and how to best enjoy my time in Nepal. Prior to arriving in Nepal, I had asked him lot of questions about the trek and Kathmandu, he would quickly answer them over WhatsApp no matter the timezone difference! He personally picked me up from the airport, helped me get settled into the Alpine Hotel (also included in the EBC package!), and then arranged a quick PCR test. On top of this, he helped me get a local SIM so I could get online, organised sightseeing in the city, and also assisted in Nepalese rupees money exchange - the total package! After some memorable days spent in Kathmandu, I was introduced to my guide for the trek, Pramish AKA DK, and we set off for base camp. DK was a fantastic guide and so supportive for the entire 12-13 days we spent together. During our treks he educated me on Nepali culture, way of living, the mountains, the Sherpa people, and so much more. His experience trekking the mountains was second to none, he was a complete pro! DK picked out some fabulous lodges/tea houses to stay in during the journey to base camp, and the food from these lodges were some of the best meals I’ve had (you have to try the Thukpa noodle soup!). DK managed the itinerary incredibly well, everything went as planned and when we needed to adapt the schedule it was easily done. When I started the trek, DK was just my guide, and when the trek finished, DK is now a close friend. We successfully made it to EBC on day 8 and it was a moment I’ll cherish forever. When we made it back to Kathmandu a few days later, I had an enjoyable dinner with Happy and DK talking over all of the unforgettable memories created during the trek. There’s a lot of agencies to choose from in KTM, but without doubt, Happyland Treks are the premier trekking/touring company. This wasn’t just a trek or holiday, it was a life experience :)
