Embark on a day tour around the Kathmandu valley to explore three unique sightseeing destinations. Initially, we will tour Patan Durbar Square, a renowned town within the valley. This palace complex comprises numerous monuments most of which were constructed in the 16th century AD. The complex exhibits various architectural styles portrayed within its buildings.
Following that, the tour proceeds to Boudhanath Stupa, standing as one of the tallest stupas in the world at 36 meters. Designed in a mandala pattern, it reflects the Gyangtse of Tibet. This monument was built to house the relics of Kassapa Buddha, a Buddha predating Shakya muni Buddha, who was born in Lumbini.
Finally, we visit Pashupatinath, a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus. As per various chronicles, this temple was constructed during the Lichhavi era around the 5th century AD. The location is filled with a unique blend of temples, historical significance, heritage and faith.
