Pick up from the Airport and proceed to Sigiriya\n\nPinnawala - Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a captive breeding and conservation institute for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 mi) northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. \nPinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2023, there were 71 elephants, including 30 males and 41 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.\n\nThe orphanage was founded to care and protect the many orphaned and wounded wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation\n\nPidurangala Rock - Sunset in Pidurangala Rock is a towering rock popular as a hiking spot which is situated a few kilometers north of Sigiriya. It is a suitable destination for moderate hikes & climbs to the top of the rock and popular for panoramic views, especially of Sigiriya along with the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. There is a giant reclining Buddha statue about halfway up the rock, which is partially reconstructed out of brick. At the base of the rock is the Pidurangala Sigiri Rajamaha Viharaya which is a white temple by the road.

The best of guides - We shot 7 days doing Galle, Yala, Ella, Nuwara Elyia, Kandy and Sigiryia, a wonderful week.
Everything was made extra special by Sujeewa, our Guide and driver for this week. It was a real luck for us, he was able to advise us the best, explained so many things and was an incredible kindness. Always ready to provide ideas and ideas to improve our trip.
Also he was really considerate, making sure we never missed anything and that we could live our experience in the best possible way.
Without him this trip would not have been the same!
If you happen to ask for him, we highly recommend him!

Thank you Nishan - We used a SLPD mini van and driver for 7 days touring from Colombo to Sigiraya to Ella to the south coast. We highly recommend using SLPD. We had a wonderful driver called Nishan. He was outstanding... helpful, friendly, professional, punctual.. We will always look back on our Sri Lanka trip as one of our favourites, and Nishan will be a big reason for that.

green paradise - I went on a tour for 6 days around sri lanka and it was amazing. I was able to visit places all over this beautiful island from archelogical sites to temples and finished my tour at the beach. I would 100% recommend the experience!

Prasad is the best guide and driver. Our trip was better than expected. We are so happy 😊 - Prasad has been an exceptional guide and driver, thanks to his help our trip was better than we planned. Prasad helped us a lot by recommending restaurants and reserving tickets for activities, he also suggested stops along the route that we had not planned and that made us very happy. We contacted Sri Lanka Private Driver through Whatsapp, we tell about the route and they gave us a very good budget so quickly . If you are thinking of traveling through Sri Lanka Prasad is the best driver.

Great Time in Sri Lanka - We did a round trip through Sri Lanka with a private driver. His name is Sujeewa and it could not have been more fun. During our trip he made sure we had an amazing time. He recommended great actives and places! We felt very safe at all times and the vehicle was great.
I can only recommend traveling through Sri Lanka with him :)

8 days through Negombo, Sigiriya, Galle and Colombo - Our driver Sujeewa was there for us on our 8 day trip around Sri Lanka, always punctual and with some insights while we drove.
We found him very courteous, and always asked where we were going to visit at each stay, giving his recommendations and identifying local things we would have just not known about.
His van was large enough to take all of our luggage and the a/c was always pumping.
Sri Lankan roads are different to Aus and it takes longer to get places, but he was patient along the drive and transparent with drive time.

Sri Lanka Short But Fruitful Trip - Best driver ever, Manoj! He is not only a driver but really taking good care of us, also providing good recommendations when there were changes in plan. Humorous and sharing us many information about Sri Lanka. Really passionate in his profession. Entertaining and fun journey just like friend. Of course very good English communication (reason why we go with “Sri Lanka Private Driver”). We were happy with the entire trip and glad that we have engaged them!

I would recommend this service without any hesitation. - We absolutely recommend using this service. Communication has been great from the start with the company and I always received very clear and prompt answers. In Sri Lanka, Nawa was our driver during our holiday and he was great. He took us around the island and ensured that everything was going smoothly. He was always well prepared, he knew where all our hotels were located and suggested sight seeing tours for us. We all felt very safe and comfortable with Nawa. He drove very well, he was always very calm on the streets and very patient. This was definitely an added bonus to our trip.

Professional and on time, knowledgeable driver - Our experience with private driver was great. Hajid was our driver throughout and we couldn’t have been luckier. He was always punctual getting to us 10-15 minutes before the agreed time. Always professional. He did not use his phone while driving which for me is very important especially when the children are travelling with us. Hajid took us to other places of interest along the way which we did not have on our list.
He was always happy to answer our questions regarding Sri Lankan culture and history and about things we were seeing and experiencing during our trip.
Thank you for making pur visit to Sri Lanka so enjoyable!

Good experience but always trust Google! - Having a driver is definitely crucial to experience a Sri Lanka trip hassle free. Our trip would have been way harder alone. However we had the feeling it limits a bit your freedom to go out and go with the flow.
Fernando was a good driver when it comes from going from A to B, he was always on time and the car was very nice and clean. However do not expect a “tour guide” since the English level was pretty basic, but still sufficient.
We really appreciated he was directly in touch with our hotels to manage our arrival beforehand. Thanks!
Couple of points to notice:
1) never trust his suggestions, always check on google before going to any restaurant or SPA proposed (we got a huge massage scam for 70$ that was rated 1.9 on google).
2) he should navigate using google maps. On the last day he stated the trip from Sigirya to the airport would have last 5h, but in reality everyone knows it takes approx 3h if following google maps.
More in general, this drivers agency is very reliable and the communication before arriving was always smooth and quick. They didn’t ask any money until our arrival in Sri Lanka.
