We require all of our customers to meet the following general requirements:
• You must have a current, valid U.S. or State or International drivers license.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Keep in mind you are responsible for the operation of your rental FUV.
- Must be 21 to drive Passenger older than 10
- Does not accommodate car seats or booster seats
- Pickup and Drop off Available for Cruise Passengers
- Combined weigh limit of 500lbs

Best day ever! - This was our absolute favorite Hawai’i excursion! TJ was super easy and laid back and sent an Uber to get us and take us back! We saw so many things on the island we never would have seen from a car. Take this adventure. You will NOT forget it!

Amazing time! - Awesome time, vehicles were great! Much faster than I expected but still easy to control. The routes they set up for you are great too! All around 5 star experience!!!

Great excursion!! - The electric vehicle was easy to get used to driving. It had a double seat belt requirement on both seats & felt very safe driving. I drove a motorcycle when I was younger and adapted to the feel easily. I am 68 & felt good about the ride.
TJ is the owner & provided a self guided tour with Google Maps & it worked well for the most part. My biggest issue was I lost the trip getting my phone out of the holder.
He provided a phone holder for you to use and it held firmly. Our rental was a 2 seater front & back seats. There was an additional storage holder in back. With the attached fiberglass canopy on the vehicle we were protected from the sun but always use your sunscreen because of the ability to get out and walk at each site.
TJ has taken a lot of time in putting the trip together and you can pick on of 2 trips.
The tour took us to local beaches, a waterfall, and an arboretum. The

Something different, Something Fun!!! - The self guided tour worked out fine even though I was apprehensive at first. The owner has done a great job of designing the tour with step by step directions and/or google maps with the directions already loaded in the link! Great beaches and other attractions. Easy to get around with only two main roads. FUV is really different and fun and easy to operate!

Fun Touring - My wife and I enjoyed the fun ride and ease of use of the FUV! There were a few "operator" error glitches but we had a great time exploring the east side of Kauai in our own.

This thing is awesome! - I found this FUV while looking for ATVs to rent. We decided to book it & look around the island instead of hiking so much. We used his map, but there were a bunch of beaches so we only stopped at one. The waterfall area on the map was closed, but we saw it from the road. Next time, I would go to the Poipu beach area instead & find my own things to do instead of using his map. If you stop, know that it gets really hot in there, so be careful getting back on.
It was so fun to ride. There is a phone holder & Bluetooth in the front so you can look at your map & play music. Be sure to take your phone cord. The back seat has spots for water bottles & other small items. There is a small trunk space in the back to lock up your belongings.

Great fun in the FUV - This was definitely the most fun I have had on any tour or excursion!! I highly recommend Kauai Island Car Rentals for his FUVs.. TJ was awesome and very helpful.. If I ever come again I will rent again

The FUV is just that, FUN Utility Vehicle! - The FUV it just that, Fun Utility Vehicle! We were on NCL's Pride of America, and in our 60's. Great way for guided self tour, much better than riding a bus. Turn by turn instructions included, see what you want, stop wherever you want, spend as much time at each stop you want. We even had rain, still enjoyed the FUV.

Cruise ship FUV - Able to do 55mph in the rain!
Highly recommend .Easy to operate ,easy to navigate with the app, enough power for the 4 hr trip
