We require all of our customers to meet the following general requirements:
• You must have a current, valid U.S. or State or International drivers license.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Keep in mind you are responsible for the operation of your rental FUV.
- Must be 21 to drive Passenger older than 10
- Does not accommodate car seats or booster seats
- Pickup and Drop off Available for Cruise Passengers
- Combined weigh limit of 500lbs

Great experience! - TJ was so helpful in getting us to the rental location, and extending our rental…we were having too much fun to come back in just 4 hrs! The FUV was a blast, stable and quick, not scary at all! A terrific way to see the island. We hiked on the East side in the morning and swam in the ocean on the South side in the afternoon.

Fun in our FUV! - Easy to learn and easy to drive. Convenient pickup/drop off at port. TJ, owner, was a great communicator. Suggested routes included some nice highlights of Kauai, and we had a beautiful day. Thx TJ

Fun Fabulous and Awesone - The host was awesome and extremely friendly
He reviewed everything on the units and showed us how to use goggle maps
You will need to know how to operate the software.

Fun on Kauai! - Thank you Kauai Island Car Rentals for the excellent time on your FUVs! It was easy to use and gave us the opportunity for an up-front and personal view of the island. The four hours soared by so fast; we wish we had more time to see all the beautiful sites!
The only problem we had was after the second stop on the self guided map. For some reason, it would not advance to the next beach. Instead, we just manually put in the next location and it worked out just fine. Looking forward to driving the FUV again!

Fun and Fast - Great experience. My wife rode in the back and loved it.
FUV was new and very fast. Never felt threatened on the highway. Rode around island with no problems.

Highly Recommend! - TJ was great giving instructions and making himself available if I had an issues— which I didn’t! I had a wonderful experience. The ride was a conversation starter for a lot of locals and other visitors. The best way to take in the beautiful views and weather!!

Great Experience. Would recommend!! - TJ was amazing. Very good customer service and communication. The fact that he will arrange transportation from the cruise pier is an added bonus. It was a hassle free excursion that I recommend to anyone who would like the open air experience. We had so much fun on our adventure! It was very memorable.
