The inaugural festival was held over a century ago, in 1903. Nowadays, the Rose Festival has grown into an international event, attracting thousands of tourists and visitors to Kazanlak. This year, take advantage of VIP access to the Festival of Rose!
The festival is celebrated either on the last weekend of May or the first weekend of June each year.
Certain activities are hosted at the Damascena complex.

Rose valley is a must - I wanted to show my business customers the beauty of the Rose valley while this off the season. We managed to make rose picking and behind the scenes visits for the implementation of the Rose festival. Incredible!!!

Amazing experience! - That was an amazing experience, where we got to experience all of the best what can offer Rose Valley! All of our group is especially grateful for Hristo who was an amazing guide throughout all day! Thank you once again!

Memorable and fun - Above excellent. Were able to watch the rose picking ritual, picked and able to keep baskets of rose buds, front row seats at the festival parade, rose museum and the garden and then topped off with the damascena rose oil museum and factory.
Hristo was excellent in making sure we were able to access everything which was greatly appreciated. A very memorable day

A real must! - Truly amazing experience with probably the best company in the area. Real VIP service with a private guide, spot on programme, always on time and with the best seats! Recommended to everyone who wants to fully experience it!

Enjoyed the rose festival like never before - I'm Bulgarian and I visited the rose festival several times but I never enjoyed it more than this time! We had the best seats with the best view which made our experience completely different than standing in the queue of people and giraffing to see something. Then we had a wonderful time in the old town of Kazanlak with special performance and tasting of rose products with the awarded Rose Queen. Truly amazing! And that's the real Bulgaria!
